Damage In Tolland
I find it pretty hard to believe that at 1,000 feet elevation every single tree has leafed out..yet at 500 feet at Uconn and along the shorline at sea level that every tree doesn't have a leaf out on it. Interesting to say the least

CoastalWx
How is Tolland always 3-4 colder than ORH? Magic.
CoastalWx
3-4 days of 75-80 has turned into days and days of 80's..? This is how the KFS forecasts always get changed around from what it actually issues I notice you are slowing backing off the mega torch you had thought. Thursday or Friday..probably Thursday might be best warmth day. Monday this week looks very nice too.
CoastalWx
If we can get the flow zonal enough and enough off a warm push NE, you could have decent MCS activity. The idea is to have the warmfront more north into NY state SNE, you never want a warm front over NJ for MCS up here...considering they tend to push more to the south with time. Damage In Tolland
It really only busts us into the warmer air on Thursday. But it keeps the backdoor north next weekend thankfully. I think interior SNE is going to be the place to be next week.

Logan11
I went into Albany after I typed that and I saw some errant flurries even in Rotterdam at 350 ft elevation. It was never more than the occasional flake, but absurdly cold and gusty standing there at the Pilot station near the Thruway/I-88 exit. The wind almost below me over. OVC and 35 here now. So we flatlined and fell a few degrees here during the afternoon. Rare day this late to have a daytime high in the 30's. The temp has actually dropped since this morning and now sits at a torchy 34.1° at noon. Still flurries in the air at times. No mowing for me today anthough the lawn needs it. N. OF PIKE
what a cold day for elevated western mass and snow flyin in the greens as usual. powderfreak snowboard is prolly 245" or so in this awful season

Damage In Tolland
There must have been some secondary CAA push over the last hour or 2..It's now down to 39.4 here..Just miserable. Kind of wx noone wants in late spring. This will be def be my coldest night of the next 2. CAA ftw in the hills. I'll end up 27-28 tonight..while low spots struggle..but tomorrow night low spots will hit mid 20's while I'm

It's a smoothed out mean so it's hard to tell. I see a front in the area, so it may be a signal for something. Tough to say if it's a BD deal, or just a pure fropa with NW winds. Logan11
Not much question it would have snowed if Kevin's phantom storm thread had worked out as reality. Plenty cold enough airmass, but it is very hard to mix cold air and moisture this late in the season. what a cold day for elevated western mass and snow flyin in the greens as usual. powderfreak snowboard is prolly 245" or so in this awful season
