Monday and maybe Tuesday (inland) look nice. Good luck after that. Maybe Friday is torch day.

Why are people worried about torches, who cares about torches, normal is just fine this time of year, and thats all I see except for a couple days above. Let mother nature run her course, enjoy the transition.............some wonderful times ahead. Your fascination with torches is quite unsettling.:)

AWT

MODELS CONTINUE TO ADVERTISE A HIGH AMPLITUDE PATTERN THIS WEEKEND

WITH FALL-LIKE TEMPERATURES OVER NEW ENGLAND...TRANSITIONING TO A

MORE ZONAL FLOW ACROSS THE CONUS NEXT WEEK. THIS WILL RESULT IN

MODERATING TEMPERATURES ACROSS NEW ENGLAND

Oddly, your 'cut' did not include the rest of that last sentence.

.

ALONG WITH A CHANCE OF SHOWERS FROM TIME TO TIME.

Dry begets dry.

I don't know...tell Kevin. Good news is that May might actually be closer to normal for once.

Nice. Not a lot of activity there this morning. :)

Haha nope... dead season. But I'm sure there will be some folks hiking and skinning later if it continues to add up.

I'll be on Mansfield checking out any new snow accumulations and right now its snowing down to the 1,500ft base elevation.

I see Saranac Lake (SLK) is reporting Moderate Snow now.

Nice. Of course, nothing of the sort down here. But, it's decidedly un-springlike. Temp continuing to drop (40.3/36) with a nice breeze. Top gust thus far of 26mph.

Gorgeous late April day here. Overcast, windy, and 39° F. As a cold and snow person, I love this type of weather in late April or early May. Some areas around here will take a run at 20° F for an overnight low here tonight, especially in high spots. H85 temps approaching -10° C could do it, especially around 2K.

Right here, and thats not even the tip of the iceberg, love the gfs right now, I expect mid 60s at worst, humid too, afternoon showers very unsettled. Just perfect for work and play, hopefully you can avoid hell up there.

I think 60 may be pushing it for you today and even tomorrow, but we'll see. SW CT is a magical place.

Yup--temperature rise has been a "no go" today. Sitting at 40.4/29, cloudy. Nice breeze.

Light snow here at 1100ft. 34 and windy. Cold azz day for April 27

It is coming down right now... suns out to the east though, haha. It must be cold aloft for this type of consistent flake and snow down under 1K ft this time of year. Still cant get more than a white coating on some surfaces.
