codfishsnowman
Since model bashing is such an important part of discussions on here I thought I would ask the experts on the board to weigh in on which ones give them the most entertainment. I know that most of the models have their strengths and weaknesses but It seems like a few are really out there in never never land more often than not...Discuss if you wish. baroclinic_instability
The RGEM has a tendency to be an "amped" up model, especially the early 48 hr runs. It usually downtrends with time, but it nailed Groundshog Day Blizzard, and it does well with significant feedback storms overall. The 12z RGEM is a perfect example with the cloastal. Sub 980 doesn't seem terribly likely.
