Typhoon Tip
Man the NAM was awesome on this event. Nailed the QPF distribution and even this warm sector intrusion going on. I'm up to 63F here is Westborough and it was 44F this morning when I arrived. Pretty impressive near 20F spike when the wind shifted from ENE/calm to 160! Typhoon Tip
Meanwhile, it's a good 10 degrees cooler here in NYC as our winds are variable... left out of the warm sector FTL. HPC's surface analysis has you guys pretty much at the axis of the low. Interesting latteral differentials here between BUF and BOS - different worlds. metagraphica
Right outside of Ithaca. I got a speeding ticket there about 45-46 years ago. Court date on Halloween....very weird. I got a speeding ticket there about 22 years ago. I think all of my classmates at the time who had cars also got speeding tickets there. Speed trap for extra revenue I think.... mattb65
Looks nice with seasonable days and cool night coming up. Maybe shwr/tstm Wednesday, then something Thursday Night. You must have missed the KFS wet begets dry call for the upcoming 7-10 day period.

Ginx snewx
Yeah I see that. I wonder how much makes it to BOS though. Vis Sat animation of the NE from PA to Maine is awesome right now, many meso features rotating around.
Ginx snewx
After a dead calm lull! sky is darkening and the wind freshened up, feels cooler too. Look at the meso map, you can tell where the sun is out, dropped 3 degrees last hour.

Aviation out of BOS was pretty routine today. I'm at ORD where I glanced at MEX. Continuation of above normal for most days. Elephant with quite a run. Typhoon Tip
teleconnectors have a weak-moderate signal for warm departures heading into the end days of this month and beyond, but the operational run types (save the GGEM) aren't too thrilled about the idea just yet. I must admit, I didn't think the NAM's notion for warm sectoring eastern zone would work out as well as it has for today.
