My work schedule this week blows wrt being home for weather Alas.

Up to .20 on the day, but only .04" since the rain started an hour ago. Seems lo basked on eyeballing intensity, but my bucket's clear, so it is what it is.

What time you leaving Thursday? I'm returning from DEN with a late scheduled arrival of 10:30PM but if I can catch the earlier nonstop I can be at the gate at Logan 3 hours earlier. Glad to be heading to wonderful wx while it blows here but I suspect my outbound tomorrow morning will be delayed.

I've got a 9:00a.m. through Chicago. Have a good trip.

Man what a pants tent for Powderfreak on the euro. Almost gets us, but just a bit too warm.

It's an interesting little nuke aloft and it expresses mightily at the surface, particularly in the CMC ... look at that 132 hour panel, and there's a short duration high impact event going on up N.

Probably should monitor that thing as the idea of secondary trough amplitude at D4-6 has been growing in the runs.

After that, there are some teleconnector signals for heat returning just beyond month's end.

This is the goods now..over pre dawn tomorrow...dry slot races in

Have you seen the radar at all? There's a massive southerly inflow with heavy bands moving in from the Atlantic towards NJ...widespread areas of 35dbz returns near the Delmarva now. The coastal low is still intensifying...Hatteras is down to 994.1mb. We should see much heavier periods of rainfall tonight.

Yeah cloud tops cooling and LLJ is starting to crank.

It's going to be an impressive display around 6z with strong QG forcing, developing instability at nose of LLJ, and strong frontogesis across western areas.

I am beginning to think Kevs brain is shrinking as much as he is.
