Damage In Tolland
In all honesty, that's pretty cool. We joke, but that's great you can run like that and have the endurance since you're 50. 39 with the maturity of a 12 yr old..lol

Damage In Tolland
We all are. My wife always asks what's wrong with me. The way I see it is life is all about having fun..If you stop goofing around and having fun..you've stopped living. It's just how i am..It might offend some people who like to be old and rigid..but that's not how I roll.

Wonkis
Hopefully you'll get a good day for VT Cities. The day I ran it it was 90+ degrees. That lone hill, Assault on the Battery, is awesome with the taiko drummers. 20 miles..2:50:21 Translated to marathon...might be able to break 3:
ChrisM
Thanks dude. Nah..I've levelled off right around 160..I lost about 20-25 lbs and that's where I've been the last 6-8 mths. Jeeze, I just officially hit 200 lbs yesterday. I'm going to try to hit a 300 lb bench max and then go back down. fatty patty
ChrisM
WARNING>>IF YOU ARE OFFENDED EASILY BY STRONG LANGUAGE OR HAVE KIDS AROUND>>DO NOT PLAY THIS In high school..every dude and female that we hung out with...knew the words to this by heart lol "Damn it feels good to be a gangsta, a real gangsta azz ** plays his cards right, a real gangsta azz ** never runs his mouth cause real gangsta azz ** don't start fights." nzucker
Brr This is a chilly pattern for late April...and it looks as if a low may pop to our east sometime next week. Dangerous regime for a large late-season snowstorm with a record-breaking +PNA. Don Sutherland has already outlined the heat potential out west. Another shot at a May 1977 type miracle next week? powderfreak
So based on that i think I can break 3:40 in BTV next month..it's flat except for a 3 mile stretch in the middle. Nothing like the ridiculous hills I train on around here Yeah with the exception of Battery Street and a couple small bumps, the lake plain is very flat. But that's good because it leaves nothing to get in the way of our WNW flow into the Greens for upslope You'll enjoy BTV...fun town on Marathon weekend. Are you staying downtown? The whole time you are running you can look across the lake at the Adirondacks and can visualize how Champlain Valley gets downsloped on a west flow haha. Wonkis
Yeah, it was a fantastic event - BTV does a great job putting it together. Church Street, the hill, and the waterfront were really buzzing and supportive... the drummers were really inspiring. Sounds cheesy, but it really was a goosebumps moment on the course. Good luck! I've heard nothing but great things about that marathon from folks that have run it. I hear the crowds and people are tremendous. Yeah that town is awesome...everyone is always happy and it's easy to see how it always comes in as a top ten place to live for quality of life. I miss living downtown there a lot. Very outdoors, healthy minded, fun town with a liberal freedom undertone. The west coast of New England.

CT Rain
00z NAM MOS has a 29knot sustained wind at BDL and 32knots at BDR. In fact for BDR winds are >30knots from 3z-9z. Sort of impressive for MOS on a sou'easter.
