Models actually park a deformation band right over them...lol. Unbelievable to see, but the track of the storm and evolution are crucial. It's not a lock yet.

First interesting storm since october...i wonder if this is the storm that changes the pattern...don s throwing around 09 for summer analog...

Summer heading into Nino, but perhaps +NAO it seems. Would think probably nrn tier of US still warmer than nornal but not like the past 2 summers.

Why is that unbelievable? Improbable, yes, but it happens every now and then...

I meant "unbelievable" more in the sense of incredible...like tongue and cheek. Also the fact that some areas may start and end the season with snow on leafed out trees. Just a comment on the overall setup.

Yeah, tru dat. Did western NY/PA get hit in October? I know eastern areas did...

I dont believe the heaviest snow ext that far west...but i could be wrong...ended up with 5 here....unbelievable as i was expecting a slushy coating....my only wsw of winter..meh lol

No not like ern areas. They got some snow into central PA and NY. Actually now that I think about it, this may get areas that saw nothing from that storm.

But in all honestly, both the euro and GFS nail western NY and PA right now.
