I can't tell what's going on. Theres multiple areas of slight rotation. Either it dies momentarily or it reforms and we got a big problem on our hands.

Old mesovortex got cutoff by its own RFD (occlusion) so the updraft reformed to the south. Given the environment that updraft will quickly become a tornadic mesovortex. The way it reformed puts Wichita even closer to the path unfortunately.

Right now the Wichita cell reminds me a lot of what the Greensburg cell looked like when it was cycling; I expect another circulation to rapidly develop to the SE of the one that appears to have weakened, within the next couple minutes. With any luck that'll push it just east of downtown, but it'as gonna be too close to call. Stay safe all.

WAS LOCATED NEAR CLEARWATER...AND MOVING NORTHEAST AT 30 MPH.
