CoastalWx
At least Off works for mosquitoes. Deer flies are immune. They are the worst. Are the ensembles still thinking Sunday night? Looks rather wet for now, but whether it's a downpour or just drizzle remains to be seen. Still looks like high elevations of NNE are probably going to see snow. moneypitmike
Ferocious wind and chilly here at 2k. Another torch flop. Less than ferocious down here, but reminscent of that August day that hints of summer's demise. 57.9/

powderfreak
Snow has made it's way back into the forecast from Saturday night through Monday...hmmm. It's just a chance of rain or snow, but I'm surprised it got put in there even down below 1000ft.

CoastalWx
I do..And so did the GFS GFS was definitely better for this week. The euro kept hanging onto the rain idea, while the GFS abandoned it. What happens late this weekend and early next week is still questionable, but it appears at least some rain is likely. Tropopause_Fold
They were pretty good for most of SNE. The EC ensembles seemed best for central and western areas as well as NNE. Still some differences in the models. thanks.

Tropopause_Fold
A nice sheet rain would be ideal. yeah a long duration soaking rain would be good. it's weird to see it dusty this time of year.
CoastalWx
Windswept drizzle to close out the event? Hopefully something to soak the ground. If some of those more offshore solutions happen, it's going to be might chilly around here. Did you see how cold GFS 2M temps were?
Tropopause_Fold
Windswept drizzle to close out the event? yes exactly that. a good 1-2" followed by prolonged drizzle to really soak it in.

Couldn't believe it. same thing here. a lot of the swampy areas/vernal pools are down to mud pits....more like they'd be in mid-summer.
