2 weeks ago we were sledding here..today mowing and full on summer

Those trees don't look they have any amount of leaves on them.

Because of your bet/challenge with Ginx I was asked to provide a third party/objective perspective for northern Connecticut because I believe the bet was that there would be full leafs out by 4/15 and that this was stated prior to our March warm-up.

I had some errands to run and took my camera with me so folks could see what the "leaf" out situation here is in northern Connecticut. In my opinion, full leafs are not out to any extent in northern Connecticut. The closest you could come were some sections in the valley where (MAYBE) 60% of the trees had tiny leaves. Even there, it's not 100% and they were not full leaves. In most areas from Union, Stafford, Enfield, Suffield, Windsor Locks, Windsor, Manchester and Tolland the trees are bare.

I'm attaching some pictures from Tolland at 980' on my GPS, trees at Bradley Airport and the hills in between. I have close-ups if those are needed but when a tree fails to deliver shade, I think it's leaves aren't out.

Snow is taking a beating again from this heat...still plenty of cover on most of the runs, but there's only about 6-10" of the two feet that fell last week left at the top. I was amazed at how much disappeared in 24 hours. Nights above freezing (40s) are a killer.

59/55, have had a few showers the last hour or two. We went for a walk down at the river and it is really really low. I can't recall ever seeing it at this level in April. August perhaps but not April.

I noticed the reservoir in Central Park is quite low right now as well. We seriously need some rain.
