How warm do we get in NNE? I didn't notice it was going to get that hot till I saw BTV has us down for 83F here in the valley around Stowe on Monday. Mid-80s out in the larger and lower Champlain Valley.

MOS is spitting out mid 80s for BTV and low 80s for MPV. With SW flow, sun, and 850s near 14-15C in NNE it should be a warm one. The Merrimack Valley should "jackpot" with the extra downslope over the Monads and ORH hills.

Wet flakes at 36F are useless.

We've had storms that have dropped well over a foot in May. There is no such thing as useless snow. It's this poor attitude that forced Ullr to only give you 10" of snow this year. Repent and perhaps next year you'll get closer to your average of 20".

Well flukes are one thing, but jmho...hoping for May snow is like hoping for Kevin to have a full head of hair.

Shouldn't you be selling girl scout cookies?

Lol... my daughter is too young for girl scouts. But we are heading over later to help spruce up the little league fields. Good to give back to the community. Decent wx for the work today. Low tds, temp not too bad yet.

GFS has a nice system towards the end of next week. Could bring some rain?

Well the whole point to this week was the front possibly stalling enough for a low to form and bring some rains. That and maybe some shwrs ahead of Monday torch. Although I never liked the idea of widespread rains...the front this week is progressive enough to get rid of the idea of any rain for now.

Some areas may get some shwrs or maybe a rumble of thunder tomorrow night? But that is tough to predict because it depends on the behavior of MCS out in the Great Lakes region. I could see that more towards NJ and the MA area.

Gross on Monday. Hope the med tents are fully stocked with water, gatorade, ice baths

It's a huge concern. There are going to be some serious health problems this year . It's scary but some folks are going to have major issues. It's no jOke to run 26.2 miles in normal wx. In 90 degree heat with heat indexes in the mid 90's is just Plain scary

Yeah. Some people I know have done the Goofy Challenge at Disney in 85+F temps, salts can be a huge deal.

(26 mile marathon, half marathon, 5k)

I sweat like a beast when I run. I think it's why my leg cramped after mile 20 in Hartford last Oct. and it was on the 50's and windy that day. Gotta take salt tablets

You need to drink water until you think you'll puke the night before. I learned tyhis years ago when I would start to cramp at the end of the day bump skiing. Tons of water, no cramps.

I think dews will be in the U40s/50s for the most part across the region.

Nah,, it looks to me like you're talking 56-61 ish dews for much of the race..maybe they mix out some in the PM..but early race it'll be pretty moist. Think back to March heat. We had dews near and over 60 esp.along the coast and southern sections

So then how are you getting temps of 90F with HIs in the mid 90s?
