Damage In Tolland
Yeah, the river here is very low. Usually it's raging with snow run off right now. I can't wait to get out of here. Lol in the year of no snow you've had bare ground for almost 2 months. And I've had more snow than you over the last 2 weeks. You FTL times
ski MRG
I'm way out of the loop here. What's the KFS? Kevin now refers to himself in the 3rd person. The KFS is the name he has given himself. The KFS is simply a cut and paste job of the various things he reads real mets saying. It's a worrisome development and perhaps today we should have an intervention at the gtg. Damage In Tolland
Feed stream near me is almost dry, main stem is as low as I ever seen it even in July/Aug. Hydro shows extreme low values for every river in SNE. Worst drought of our lives this summer. Everything points that way. Dry begets dry. Forecasting persistence. You don't forecast widespread rains in times of drought
Ginx snewx
Looks like Mets will be on forced retirement or furlough until the end of the month. Exciting challenges, will it be 77 or 79? There is always prom season.
CoastalWx
KFS has less than 1" of rain at all for stations for the rest of the month as of 10 days ago. Need just under 0.7" here. I'll be shocked if all 4 stations are less than 1".

You FTL times 2 Please. I had almost your entire seasonal snowfall by Halloween. More than double your total by the season's end and snow is still very possible here. You can spin it however you like but your locale isn't in the same league as GC. Don't you have some poison that you need to apply to your lawn? CapturedNature
2005 was a really dry summer if I recall. Then October happened. If it hadn't been so dry, the flooding would have been much worse. Everything evens out in the end. We really don't have droughts that compare to other regions, imho. Pictures coming tomorrow to settle the "full leaf out" by April 15th bet from last month. Unique so far.
CoastalWx
When will you give credit where credit is due? Well it needs to be at the end of the month right?the other day I mentioned some areas could have shara with ISO thunder that will probably drop over 0.25" in spots. You threw out the whole dry begets dry, but ern areas had a widespread 0.25-0.35" with spots near a half. I will say that I thought this week could offer some rain, but that ain't happening it appears. That's a function of things being more progressive which is anti New England Spring. Very anomalous and persistence most of the time burns you in new England.

We had many wet years so a dry year is totally in the cards at some point. We survived before and somehow we will come through this together LOL. Spring is still cutoff time through May so always be aware.
