CoastalWx
off topic but that shooting in chicopee is crazy my friends moved out last year and that lady and the son were the ones that moved in after them.. alot of partying happened there... back on topic today was just a picture perfect day as far as weather.. Pretty clear that cops should have every weapon at their disposal. Those who think otherwise can risk the result of death.
HIPPYVALLEY
Black flies already out here This desert dry will keep them relatively in check this year. Ticks have been knocked back considerably and very few mosquitoes. Saw the ISS fly over about 30min. ago. Saw it from the window and ran out with the binoculars, pretty cool. It will be visible W to E tomorrow night between 8:48pm and 8:51. http://spaceweather.com/flybys/

Typhoon Tip
Thinking about the impending severe day in the Plains tomorrow, while watching severe taking place in those same areas tonight, and it occurs to me, we had a long track hailing supercell up here along Rt 2 in March, and it seems like it's been so long that has never happened before. They get nights like that far superior for production, while they wait for "severe".

Modfan
At this time, it appears to be shaping up to be a dry week IF the storm wed/thur stays to our south..
moneypitmike
And warm, too. BOX has upped my Monday temp to 80*! Scorcher on it's way. As harbinger to that, I'm sitting at a balmy 44.6/21. I'm hoping Chris' and Dave's comments about the impact of the dry on black flys/mosquitoes is accurate. While I'm not a fan of the summer weather, the bugs really work to ruin any positive aspects of it. Meanhile, Kevin BOX P/C tell Kevin not to use BDL as his reference point for Monday. Shows Tolland (and much of eastern CT) at a comfy 81; ORH at 87. Has me hitting 80*--bleh.

CoastalWx
Well looks like most of the potential precip probably will not work out. At least one of the stations could have a half inch of precip (BOS) thanks to the other day..but we'll only have elevated shwrs or tstm which does not seem widespread at the moment.
