I agree, the one thing that I think we can almost say for certain right now is that there is going to be a storm in the Saturday-Monday timeframe, finer details to be worked out later. Its going to be interesting to see if the models become drier as we near the event which has been the case numerous times lately or wetter.

It gives Philly and NYC just over two inches, but it's way too early to ask for specifics like that. This probably will shift around.

It stands for Trough of Warm Air Aloft. It's sort of like a warm conveyor belt of moisture that moves up and over the colder air at the surface. In all honestly, it's more of a warm conveyor belt of moisture that comes in..not completely a TROWAL.

Thanks Coastal

I knew BAF is Westfield, MA but I always thought there was a Westfield, CT and when looking at the ''more local weather link'' under the obs for the city your on I thought that Westfield was for CT.

I don't think there is one..but I may be wrong. I'm pretty sure there isn't one though.

Mapquest suggests that it might be a portion of Middletown or thereabouts. If you put "westfield, CT" into BOX's site, it brings you to "2 miles sse of berlin".

Yeah I did that first then went to google. Might be around Meriden somewhere...that is near Berlin and the Meriden Mall is called Westfield mall...but that is New Haven county.

Looks like I missed the leaf out by 1 day..Not bad..and we'll consider it a win

Leaf out just for your house? And even then, I doubt more than 50% of the trees have full leaves.

No leaves here except on shrubs, small bushes, even those are small...

Lots of flowering though.

Your lawn looks amazing
