A few cells over SE Mont. Co. heading my way. I snapped some pics. of them about an hour ago when they were just some tower Cu. Hope to post them later.

Thunder getting louder.

I'm in Lansdale and that same storm is here. Lots of lightning / thunder...and rain of varying intensities.

Radar estimates up to 4" of rain in SE Lehigh County, flooding lots of small streams and creeks. It was thundering almost continuously for nearly 5 hours here in Allentown.

Got fringed with that over in Fogelsville/Trexlertown when I was there, but it did look impressive farther east.

Yet another day of pop up slow moving storms on tap for our Thursday Models actually have increased instability a bit with stronger cape and lifting compered to the past few days. with the ULL being closer by on Thursday a very Isolated severe storm can not be ruled out but for the most part we are going to see pulse convection again with localized areas see 1 inch+ in short periods of time. 95% of us will not see a severe storm. if you saw a storm yesterday it does not necessarily mean you will see one today. Storms will pop anytime after 11am and priest through out the afternoon into the evening before slowly fizzling out around sun set. The 00Z though keeps storms going into the night for eastern portions of the area. we will just have to wait and see if they can develop into clusters in order for that to happen .

The only spot i see getting a storm on the models is right in Northern NJ into NYC Philly stays at 0-4 for this week including southern NJ and the best chances are the same areas that got storms over the past few days where it has rained and there is more moisture to work from from the ground. I have had to water our garden section every day this week I was hoping that I wouldnt have to do it as much, but the way things have gone it had to be done by me watering them.

Decent compact vort rolling up the DE/NJ coasts this morning, helping to pop some showers on its northwestern flank. One heavier shower quickly developed nearly right over the office.

Storms firing a little in my neck of the woods. Some brief but very tropical downpours. Haven't checked the gauge but doubt we are over 0.10 so far.

Yeah, we are getting a T-shower here. Storm seems to be pulsing and we are on the southern edge of the cell now. SUN actually came out for a bit ( while it was still raining, does that make it a "sun-der-shower"?) and I rushed out to see if I could see a rare "western rainbow", but no such luck. I'll say around .10" - did pour fairly heavily, but only for very brief intervals.

Some solid clearing going on in jersey, SE PA. Thermo's have responded, bumping cape values into the 1000+ range. HOwever, as has been the case, a lack of shear will keep the severe factor limited. Same song and dance, slow moving, heavy downpours will be the norm.

agree on there being no severe storms today how ever with a strong disturbance today we could see a few stronger storms as instability in response is stronger. additionally with the disturbance being near south jersey and Delaware there is a greater threat for storms today in the eastern parts of our area then there has been in the past few days. There is already some evidence of that on radar in south jersey though North and western areas I should do quite well again today. with this very moist atmosphere in place.
