OceanStWx
Nice rotation, imo this thing isn't lining out. The original cell definitely cycled one more time, still a very strong meso near Cestos.
brettjrob
Nice rotation, imo this thing isn't lining out. They definitely aren't lining out, as the HRRR indicated they would all day. However, I have to believe at some point soon the SBCINH will become prohibitively strong for further tornadoes. Observations in Dewey/Custer Co. ahead of the two supercells are roughly 65/60, whereas they were in readings more like 73/62 when they were at their peak. My focus is beginning to shift to the CDS area storm, which is in a much more favorable thermodynamic environment and will continue to be for at least an hour or two. However, deep-layer shear is a bit weaker down there.

andyhb
I think that was taken around the time that there were multiple reports of a large tornado with debris in the air in this area. Either way, there is amazing structure in the cloud base, and you can see the motion just by looking at the photograph.

JoMo
Just curious but who thought this was good wording? I understand "Turn around, don't drown" but this may be confusing for some people. From the tornado warnings earlier tonight from Norman, OK. "GET IN...GET DOWN...AND COVER UP. LEAVE MOBILE HOMES AND VEHICLES. TAKE COVER NOW IN A STORM SHELTER OR AN INTERIOR ROOM OF A STURDY BUILDING. STAY AWAY FROM DOORS AND WINDOWS. "
