on_wx
Pretty sure Brandon Sullivan has a funnel on his cam now, almost to the ground. Nice RFD cut... Definitely a tornado now Looked like a cone tornado any idea how long it lasted? I only caught the end of it
OceanStWx
Was brief though...
cyclone77
Looking at the storm from straight overhead. Look at that massive 50DBZ+ overhang..
Superstorm93
Monster meso on this one.
OceanStWx
Looked like a cone tornado any idea how long it lasted? I only caught the end of it If you caught the end of it, you pretty much caught it all. The funnel danced up and down for a few seconds before dropping to the ground and lifting again. andyhb
LCL heights look to be finally losing out, a meso like that should be capable of large tornadoes.

AgeeWx
Looked like a cone tornado any idea how long it lasted? I only caught the end of it 30 seconds is all I saw of it. Looks like it's cycling now, decent rotation on the 1.3 scan still.
OceanStWx
Makes sense that the tornado was brief. The TVS is actually tucked back to the west of Route 34, southwest of Woodward, while the main meso is almost right over Route 34.
SouthernNJ
More softballs in Woodward, with windows being broken. As of 521 CDT report. Pretty classic chronology: Dropped the softballs at 521, then the tornado at 525. The warning was issued at 525, so even though the tornado was brief, it still counts as verified. One thing working against that is the relatively weak low level shear. 0-1 km shear is only around 15 knots, would like to see it higher for significant tornadoes. At the same time is only takes a strong updraft and locally enhanced low level shear to beef up winds.
wxmeddler
As a side note on this image... When you have lowered CC on light reflectivity down range of a storm with high reflectivitys in the core. That's a automatic Three Body Scatter Spike. No more TBSS guess work.
Superstorm93
Large funnel cloud was reported.

The fact we're seeing storms like this with this kind of setup makes me rather concerned about what later in the week may hold in store... Storm has cycled, really tightening with the meso again. SouthernNJ
Woodward might not be finished yet, as it looks as though a new meso is north of it, which could produce more hail if it holds together and approaches the town.
cyclone77
Could be a close call for the town of Sharon.
