It seems like the temperatures will be slightly warmer than forecast in most locations again in NJ. Down here in C NJ, there doesn't seem to be much cloud cover on its way to block any sunlight, nor is there much cloud cover right now (only a few cirrus clouds and hazy conditions) so we should break 90 easily over the next couple of hours.

2pm temps:

LGA: 84

EWR: 87

NYC: 85

JFK: 75

some folks here are reporting 90 - although if I was them i would check and see if their thermometers are calibrated properly or somehow being effected by direct sunlight - although it is still very possible that there could be a 90 or 2 in the area but apparently not at any official recording station

I have 89.2 here in total shade close but no cigar yet

I like looking at the PWSs more to indicate if the seabreeze has kicked in. Still rising in and around Manhattan. East Village (which is clearly in some sunlight) is up to almost 94F.

Skies are clearing here (it looked as if come clouds were building earlier), doesn't look like any sea breeze has affected the immediate area just yet. Another PWS I keep an eye on is the one in Astoria, which has risen to 88F. It is fairly close to LGA.

The furnace East Village PWS is up to a laughable 96.3F, but as it is continuing to rise it doesn't look like any sea breeze has come in down there either.

DT on facebook saying east coast rainstorm looking more and more likely this weekend? hmmm i dont know about that especially coming from him and when lately as we get closer it tends to dry out or not happen at all

12Z GFS is showing 3 days of clouds and on and off rain - not a rain storm BUT wouldn't trust any model that far out since they have failed miserably the last few weeks especially
