Saying the pattern could support some snow is one thing, claiming big snow on the way is something else..lol. Father winter still beats us all, although I think Kevin is done well compared to him since 3/1. Might even have a bit more.

I've had four measurable snowfalls but they've totaled around an inch and a half at 800ft in Stowe village. Those pics you had looked whiter than anything I've seen in town in a while. I'd much rather 2" at once than 4 straight mornings of 1/4-1/2" dustings.

CoastalWx
Looks like weeklies are still rather mundane with the late month warming. It still looks a bit warmer than normal, but I do not see a torch signal right now on those runs.

It would be nice to geta decently organized coastal with good qpf in these threats. Otherwise we're just looking to guess where a little band sets up to give a thin stripe of 1-3" like the last event.

ORH_wxman
BTV was warmest on record, with an almost 130 year record period. Most of the NNE sites should have broken their record...the core of warmth was most impressive up that way.

Hell even if I had a torch '97 El Nino...at least we had coastal storms.

See that winter as bad as it was...25 inches at BOS is surely a dead ratter....it was fun in some ways. I was at Home Depot in West Roxbury close to new years eve..thunder galore....best severe of the year within a week of the winter solstice. ORH_wxman
What a joke our "storms" have been this winter. Hell even if I had a torch '97 El Nino...at least we had coastal storms. Its been such a pain to keep saying "well qpf might be an issue" or "worried about the dry air" or all that crap. We've sounded like moneypitmike most of the cold season, but its been true. So many disorganized systems. Even the one good one we had recently in the interior (Feb 29-Mar 1) was a disorganized mess that lasted over 30 hours to get our 8-9" of snow. The night before the last system, I really started worrying about qpf here (it was always a bit of worry north of CT)...it snowed for like 90 minutes at Kevin's and he got 2" of snow. If only we had that 4-5 hour burst we were looking for, it could have been a nice little event widesread. But it seems like we say that about most events this year. Some years we are saying "oh man, if it had been 1C cooler in the mid-levels"...not this year. Even though its been a torch overall, we have had every system be so dry and not rain all over us with 2 inches of rain. Hopefully this last setup can produce a coastal...it looks pretty good on the large scale pattern, but you are always waiting for it to look uglier and more strung out as you get closer. I know 25" isn't great by any means, but we had some good storms and at least there was action to track. It actually wasn't that bad in the far interior since most of the events were so marginal in terms of boundary layer.
