ORH_wxman
45kt at ORH...pretty damn good! Yeah it got really windy in a short burst...the precip came down heavy briefly which is when I got those splatters on the windshield...really freaky actually because it was pretty warm just a couple hours ago. Temp shot under 40F pretty quick.

Mr Torchey
Well today was sort of in between troughs. there have been zero impressive negative departures over the last two weeks, even that one cold day produced -4 crap. It is what it is, I hope next winter is better, this absolutely sucked azz. Time for beers and bikinis, I am happy for those that are seeing catpaws, but I will take my 67 and sunny to the bank all spring long, different strokes for different weenies. Well there is no argument there, but today was a pre frontal torch that all saw coming. You got a long time to wait for bikinis my friend. Unless you can walk around in suits when it's 50s-60s. I want to see a picture of him taking an outside shower in his hammock Easter Sunday. He will be in the 60 s while the rest of us struggle to get 40 and heavy snow falls in NNE. CoastalWx
It's been warm, but lets not act like beach weather and flip flops are around the corner. Today was a very nice day, but previous days in the 50s with winds to 30kts don't exactly inspire thoughts of the beach. But to each his own I guess. It was an all time March for many places..........truly an incredible event, today was a +10, fantasy storm after fantasy storm have done nothing but fail except for one last October. I have no idea what the **** you are talking about, all I am doing is enjoying SPRING, ya know the season of sun, fun, and change. I will be enjoying multiple bikinis in ten days on the beach back home, and as far as today, ho hum almost 70 on April 4th. This year long torch has skewed reality. Euro ens try and bring a decent trough into the west and ridge east towards mid month, I would never bet against this torch. I just want to see a 7 day or 5 day period below normal, now that would be a miracle!

Yeah I mean 534-540 thicknesses can get into the 60s with good mixing, which is nice, but don't know how many of those days we'll have with a rotting ULL on top of us. Maybe mid month it comes back.
