yeah i chucked that out there for him. i know he's on his iPad looking at his tide app.

LOL tide App. He gets an automatic Sultan of Sandbag signal if tides go over 18" mean low tide. As soon as the gauge reading come in, he hears a little jingle, looks at his phone, and there is the pic that Eric made.

It projects a spotlight with the Sultan's face onto his ceiling.

925s -2C....

what a reversal this could be

That is an absolute disaster run for E MA....highs in the upper 30s with drizzle. Maybe the storm will trend more impressive with its retrogression and give some snow instead.

This might be one of those times when the King of Kings gets played by the Pauper

well your area is far enough W where it's probably not a concern either way. could very well end up a decent day there. more of land breeze for you plus additional drying/warming with pronounced downslope flow off the hills to your NE.

Actually, Maine is one of the largest redemption states as we take back the most deposited items, We have well over 300 redemption centers here and you do not see any bottles, cans, juice, water or liquor bottles all over the roads as there are many people that go around collecting them, The grocery store is not the place to go redeem these, They need to go to a discount beverage store or a redemption center that strictly handles returnables and how i know is i worked as a manager at a beer dist for 15 years and my company sells all the supplies boxes and bags to all the recycling centers plus most of the distributors of the products that get redeemed in the state, It also provides jobs to folks in areas that have no other industry.

Agree with all of this. Roadside litter dropped by at least 90% when Maine's bottle bill first went into effect. It's true the value-for-volume ratio is low (we can fill the Outback with bags full of empties and come out with less than $15) and the aroma is not all that pleasant for teetotalers like my wife and I, but if those are my worst problems, life is good. Add in the prohibion of billboards, and Maine's roadside views are mostly quite nice.

(Though we probably have more than our share of grimy mobile homes surrounded by rusty vehicles.)

You guys can lock in a bookender snowstorm for 4/12. I'm away 4/12-4/19 so that would really put the nail in the coffin for this winter. LOL

4/11-12 is definitely being targeted on the ensembles. Really anywhere from 4/11-4/13 is favorable.

This is the worst spring ever for Ginx. No rain, no snowmelt..rivers at record lows..his annual ski trip to Sunday River was skiied bareback in mid summer heat..He can't catch a break

actually the very best ski trip I ever had. You guys having fun? LOL, do not discount the tidal stuff . I love Joe L but to compare Jefferson County Co with New England, well can not remember the last time a tumbleweed crossed the highway in front of me.
