Logan11
It's a boring pattern, but it's pretty ideal for our area - drying all our muddy clay based fields after the last frost has exited the ground. Farmers have been able to start plowing which is really early for this area. As to the wx pattern....as winter has turned to spring it seems like we continue the cycle back to the Maritimes/Northeast trough (with axis too far east for a Nor'easter). Hopes are increasingly dashed for one big blue bomb next week...same old same old with things too far east. It's a rerun of Feb/early March in April style. But not bad in April...50's by day a lot and mainly dry nw flow. I'll take it I guess. Might get small/intermittent activity early next week thru Wednesday, but yeah other than that it looks pretty dry. I'm not liking these 850mb temps next week. End of next week looks promising temp wise but there's a swath of precip coming along with it.

Logan11
That warm wx brought the lawn to life here, but now stunted and growing ceased temporarily. Fine by me, I almost never mow before the last week of April or May 1st. We shouldn't even have forsythia or daffodils here until at least April 15th...obviously this year we do. But none of the other flowering bushes, etc. opened which is just as well. Just mowed for the first time. Green is thick and lush like Kev's man bush. Sitting at 64/23 here 3 miles inland but it's now 56/28 at the beaches. Cool stuff. #seabreezefetish

Mr Torchey
has to be a record for the amount of red flag warnings issued this year Just came back from Galloping Hill Rd, taking care of a property, heavy smoke in the air. I cant begin to describe how dry the soil is, the leaves are matchbox dry, and the winds are starting to crank. 66 sunny beautiful but this is getting ridiculous, we need rain. Logan11
Cigs, empty cig packs, beer/soda cans, wine bottles, beer bottles, plastic and foil snack food bags, fast food bags with remnants....and on and on... American's are absolute pigs and disgrace the way they litter.... Maybe it's only like 10%, but they ruin it for everyone. I do a couple roads here picking up trash in the Spring and it is beyond description. We won't even get into the people that dump whole bags of trash and pieces of construction material etc. I can see some of the smoke from Rte 15. Stupid people tossing cigs.... moneypitmike
It's a beautiful day here in GC. 53.2/20 with a strong breeze (top gust of 21mph at my ill-sited anamometer). Haven't been able to spend much time here the last couple weeks. Mucho busy it seems. I hope all's well with everyone!

Logan11
I would imagine that adverse wx (whether floods that wreck peoples yards or a drought) all generates business for a landscaper like Joe.
