Good Luck with that--seems the longer range threats either fade or grossly underperform.

All it means is that with troughing in the east...it could happen. It's not like we have a furnace death ridge. There are other things at play too..like MJO forcing that may actually try and help for once.

Yea if this does not produce heavier precip with the upcoming setup then nothing will. Hard to believe it will not but it's been persistent phail since Halloween.

Well I don't mean just next week because next week could be cold and dry, if that low does retrograde and keep NW flow..lol. It very well may happen.

The week of the 11th looks very troughy with possible GOM moisture. IDK if it pans out but teleconnections would say yes, persistence says no way.

I sure as heck hope we get rain snow whatever, you think its getting dry now, wait till leaf out, that robs soil moisture in a big way.

These low dewpoints and wind are just a killer right now

If next week is a fail, then as the warm tries to surge in, it could be accompanied by rain. You usually don't get warm surges in from the SW, and no rain this time of year...or any time of year for that matter.

Funny I was thinking about uptake and EVT today. The hydro situation on main rivers and stems is 10-25 % of normal, once uptake kicks in it will be crazy. Not having mountain snowmelt is huge even as far away as down here. Just looking at the rivers and ponds in my area it's disheartening to think what things will look like once green up happens if we continue dry.

From a selfish standpoint I'm all for desert dry because it will keep the tick (and mosquito) populations in check. I've seen no ticks this week after an epic number the past few weeks.

Good points...but all of the troughs this year have had little or nothing with them--amazing actually...you would think one of them would deliver something.

Yeah it's not a lock, but eventually persistence forecasting loses out. If next week were to fail, it's because the low retrogrades and we are left with little precip on the nw side. Maybe the week after does better as warmer air tries to return. Still don't see anything imminent at the moment... just the pattern possibly allowing for something to occur over the next couple of weeks.

Eat eat eat!!! And eat well!! 50% protein 25% fat 25% carbs. Lift heavy!! My lifts go up 10 lbs or so a week at this point. Putting on some fat but I feel great!

Haha yeah I've been trying to load up on the protein this semester.

For the first time, I have a decent work out routine, and I'm strong, but not gaining the bulk that I want to yet

for the bulk you want add low glycemic carbs preferably before evening.....and/or you can add carbs with higher Glycemic index values within 60 minutes of a hard weight workout (when glycogen stores are low)

this is if you want to add Lean "bulk". good sources of low glycemic carbs are yams/sweet potatoes/ezekial break/ezekial pasta /pinto beans/butter beans/kidney beans/garbanzo beans/oat bran

and go for 1g of protein per pound of bodyweight with near a gallon of water a day.

and yes i train people for a living (part time)
