TheTrials
1996 wins in Duration, Cold Temperatures/Wind Chill, Snow Totals (for me anyway) and impact on the largest area 2010 gets the nod in one area over 1996 in my opinion, wind speeds. But both were amazing experiences and I'm grateful that I am able to remember every last detail of both perfectly. After all for a snowhound like myself nothing compares to lots of: yup, to be able to remember both, and to see and remember 93 (even though it blew as a snow storm) is something special. dbc
yup, to be able to remember both, and to see and remember 93 (even though it blew as a snow storm) is something special. I remember all the details of 1993 as well. I actually always liked December 1992 better than March 1993 from a wind perspective. Obviously the snow and ice in the Superstorm gives it that added appeal
dbc
Overall, I think that the blizzard of '78 outdoes both of them. (at least on Long Island it does) Maybe so but I wasn't born yet lol.
TheTrials
if we keep this thread going, we can get it to next April and the title will make sense. I wonder how long it will be till the forecasts for summer heat will begin to look like last winters forecasts for epic blocking JB finally FTW? TheTrials
LOL, a lot of fuss being being for two days of heat followed by an anomolous east coast trough.
