HoarfrostHubb
Was hoping to see a few mangled flakes in the spotlights, but no such luck I fear I may have seen my last snow of 2011-2012
ORH_wxman
Was hoping to see a few mangled flakes in the spotlights, but no such luck I fear I may have seen my last snow of 2011-2012 I doubt it...in this pattern we'll see flakes again. It would be nice if one of these systems actually looked decent synoptically though.
Brian5671
Couple of hours of rain here, mid 40's, about .20 or so. same as the other storm so close to .50 for the 2 days, biggest event in awhile.
dendrite
It's snowing decently along I89 through the Sunapee region. Springfield is down to 1/2SM vis at the RWIS site at 1400ft.

Mr Torchey
Its pretty remarkable, we are going to come out of this without much winter weather outside a couple places. I see a blazing torch starting around the 13th of april.........may the torch be with you.

HIPPYVALLEY
Went to the Celtics - Heat annihilation this afternoon/evening and drove back down Rt 2 after the post game libations and saw a few mangled flakes in the Gardner/Orange corridor of RT 2, Home and the ground is wet here in Greenfield but under .10" in the rain gauge. Arnold214
Flipped to snow here at the Ekster residence within the last hour. 33.8F. Maybe squeeze out a half inch if I'm lucky.
Allenson
We had snow here last night--in fact, this system gave us nothing but snow & ice pellets here. Temps were marginal and the ground warmish, so it had a hard time accumulating but we did manage to eek out several tenths. The ground is white this morning however and it's even frozen onto the tree limbs.
MaineJayhawk
Rain and snow mixed but no accumulation.

MainePhotog
Trace here too. Just a light coating on cars and grass. All melted now.
klw
We had close to two inches on the car this morning. Things were really quite pretty out with the ground white with a blue sky and the sun coming up through the snow coated trees.
Clinch Leatherwood
Lot more rain than I expected. Echoes seemed to sit right over us and rebuild. Grass is soggy. Best news in ages.

This would be a good time to apply the flame retarding chemicals as per Blizz's request.

Little bit of organics this year and the grass is dark green. Many areas of the Cape are going over to organic because we care about the environment. And my lawn is green/lush because it makes a great field for the kids to play on. I'm not out there rolling naked on it like Kev. I'd rather have it soft for the kids but also napalm free. tamarack
Only a trace of snow (blink and you'd miss it) and nothing else at my place. I'd have liked to see another inch or two, but am more concerned that the anticipated 1/4"+ precip failed to materialize. Seems to be a continuing pattern here since the beginning of Feb; nearly every event has come in with less than expected precip. Doesn't look to get any better in the near term, with little or nothing for this week and who knows for next. GYX morning AFD had a good description of what's often been going on - the systems weaken as they approach here, then an energy leapfrog such that secondary cyclogenesis occurs too far east to affect us. Cake yesterday and cake tomorrow, but never cake for today.
