HoarfrostHubb
LOL at the peeps who think living in BOS is anythIng remotely bad. It blows having a world class city at your finger tips. Lol at the dude who thinks living 1 hour from Cambridge/Boston is boonieville. Of course, that is not during rush hour.

CT Rain
My wife makes fun of me for that, yet she grew up in the same area lol. Folks in GC sound like they're from west Virginia.
CoastalWx
One of the best trauma centers in the region is 10 minutes away. UMass Medical is 30. I can probably get to it faster than you can get to Brighams and Womens during traffic times Oh, they have helicopters, too, if I gotta get there soon. Neighbors also help each other out here. My wife and son assisted a neighbor who is raising money to go help people in Haiti today. Do you know any of your neighbors? Neighborhoods are tight here. Each street has a block party in the summer. That's the old school Irish for ya an one of the reasons why I like it here. It's a suburban feel. Ginx snewx
Whenever I'm in NYC I can't sleep because of the constant din and light pollution. It's unhealthy. It's weird that we all climo to our lifestyle. My best friend in life has lived in cities since we graduated high school. When he comes to visit he has trouble sleeping because of the intense quiet. Puts his IPod on to sleep and I have neighbors close by, he would freak in the middle of the woods. Asked him to go camping with us, he said God gave us Walls and roofs for a reason lol
ski MRG
Sounds terrible. God I can't imagine being able to walk to a bar... how awful. We just snowmachine to ours. Much more civilized.

It's just a fun area . Not only are the best restaurants, shops, museums, entertainment etc are minutes away....I can walk to anything from A butcher shop to a dry cleaner in less then a quarter mile away. On a beautiful summer night, I can go ocean side and grab food and drinks at bars and restaurants in the water front in many local cities and towns. It's awful here. I'm sure the interior has many ice cream stands on stagnant ponds where mosquitoes knaw your arm off and fly it back to its nest.

The neighborhoods are nice, it's inner city that is pretty, well saying it nicely, unkept and weird.

Ginx snewx
Boston is my favorite city for food. NY for sports. DC for Museums and San Diego for beauty and beaches. Cleveland is the butthole , Miami is hot hot hot and oh my.

I can walk 4 minutes and have the best trout and salmon fishing in the state. I don't have to lock the doors. If I want fine dining I can go down to Northampton (there is also Herrell's Ice Cream). If I want to shoot guns in the middle of the night to see the cool flash I can. Fookin' Shangri la here dude. Cities are fun to visit for a day or two but beyond that, meh. ctsnowstorm628
Where you seeing 1/2" of QPF in 6 hours? I dunno, given what happened this morning during the coldest time of the day... this time of year I'd feel better about any snow below 1,000ft with H85s of colder than -4C... more like -6C unless its really coming down. I think even the NAM is only 1-2" hill tops with mangled flakes maybe mixed in with the rain in the valleys. Soundings look warm at the surface. Sorry just saw this, but the image you posted had a jackpot of .39" in 3 hours...lol NAM is bad for SNE anyway lol
