cyclone77
Another nice day after the cool start. Hit 63.
Nic
Looks like there might be snow showers here Tuesday morning, they will not stick of course.
Geos
Cool day today. 48°, 30°. Completely sunny skies, made it tolerable outside without a coat. Really cooling off again tonight.
nwburbschaser
Next weekend may become a time to keep an eye for severe weather in the midwest. Not sure how things have looked on previous model runs, but the 00Z GFS looks interesting at least.
andyhb
GFS has been showing this for several days now.
nwburbschaser
What's your take on it andy? Seems like every time there looks to be a decent set up recently it ends up falling apart.
andyhb
Thing is, the ridge will likely not be there to screw it up this time, which has been the thing that has messed up recent systems. Broad synoptically, If you get an upper jet like this digging in that fashion in April...it opens up possibilities. All three major models showing a large upper trough setting up after this. BowMeHunter
Getting real soft when a measly 33 is feeling nipply.. With the cool start to the morning I wish we weren't going out fishing until the sun had a chance to warm the water back up a bit but by then there is no chance we get a parking spot at the launch. With 7 of the last 9 days stuck in the 40's, I can't wait to strip off the Packers sweats and Super Bowl XXXI sweat shirt to get down to my sexy cutoff jean shorts and wife beater and get me some of today's 60's. Enjoy the perfect holiday weekend weather and Hoppy safe Easter to all forum members, staff and family..

Geos
Temperature has risen 26° from the morning low of 29°. Hopefully it won't cloud up too much. Seeing high clouds overhead now.
hawkeye_wx
GFS really amplifying a ridge east/trough central-west pattern by next weekend with mild temps(+12C @850), strong flow off the gulf, and widespread showers and storms.
daddylonglegs
Cubs? I hope they don't still charge to watch that garbage Clouds here..some sun at times... Still mild. GFS shows a nice warm airmass next weekend... Hopefully get some rain.
Jonger
Hit 27 again today in Howell, that has been my magic number and most of these cold mornings. Maybe I ought to check my thermo for accuracy.
B-Rent
Cubs? I hope they don't still charge to watch that garbage Brewers do, and their stadium was empty by the 7th inning yesterday. I wish I knew what the weather was like. Being a non-smoker in a closed up building sucks.
Geos
Doh! I guess the southwest winds aren't strong enough to overpower the southeast lake winds. Been stuck at 58° since 11:30am. Some mid level clouds starting to filter in from the west.
cyclone77
Made it to 67 here before the clouds thickened up. A few sprinkles out there right now. Don't think we're gonna get much from this system either.
BowMeHunter
GFS keeps painting a fairly moist fantasy land. Lakes and particularly the rivers really need a week of good rain. Fox river was down a good 2' today.
Hoosier
Spectacular weather. I'll call it upper 60's since there will probably be a late bump.
Geos
Just clouded over completely. 58° will probably do it for the day.

Hoosier
Good shot at not making it out of the 40's on Tuesday. If that happens it would be the first time since March 9.

Geos
Hoping for a drought this summer. 1988 ftw. Sent from my iPad No thanks! I'll take a active weather pattern over a boring dry one!
michsnowfreak
Fairly big spread today, low 32 high 63 at DTW...and very few clouds in the sky. Sky cover yesterday was 0, today was 2 (out of 10). It is rare to have two clear days in a row here.
IWXwx
I am getting a little much-needed rain. It isn't going to amount to much, but we've only received a little over an inch in the past four weeks, so any rain helps.
Geos
Only picked up a trace of rain tonight. 58°/29° for today. Temperatures falling off as the cold front passes through.
