CT Rain
What are you forecasting for amounts? <1" valley... 1-2" hills I'd say but haven't really looked closely at anything
nzucker
How much foliage do you have? Going down 91 I was actually disappointed with the foliage considering temps. At least in the HFD area, 1-3" with 3-5" in the hills would not be too detrimental. It's March 30th...how much foliage can you expect?
Mr Torchey
No 58 today??? It was a spectacular day, but no 58, high of 54 here. Its amazing though, in the sun it felt just about perfect!
ctsnowstorm628
It's March 30th...how much foliage can you expect? No, I know that, but the way Blizz has been talking would make you think there are big green buds on every tree. There is a local maxima of some higher foliage btwn SPGFLD and HFD but nothing that'd be totally damaged by 2-4" of snow.
weatherMA
It's March 30th...how much foliage can you expect? I don't think we are a month ahead any more...but its still looks like maybe 4/15 or so out there... definitely not still March.
CoastalWx
<1" valley... 1-2" hills I'd say but haven't really looked closely at anything I just don't know how organized it will be. I definitely could see areas getting more, but I couldn't say where. Maybe near Kev or especially nw hills of CT and Berks.

Unless he lives on some 1000 foot tropical isle, there is not much foliage in these parts. Barely some buds on trees, with the exception of that crappy yellow bush that blooms early, last for 2 weeks and then looks like crap the rest of the year. ctsnowstorm628
Pretty reasonable Sref forecast snowfall IMO besides the fact that it's resolution can't pick up elevation issues. I think the overall max amounts are decent.

moneypitmike
High terrain folks..get batteries and candles prepared You make me laugh with these power outage comments. There's not going to be that much snow (and I'm not speaking for mby as I know I"m not getting anything). October has really gotten under your skin. I can almost imagine you've developed an eye-tick. Moneyshotmike can be such a Debbie downer. My power went out in Octosnow with 3-5" otg. I think the only reason anyone would lose power from this couple of inches is if someone skids their car into a pole.
ORH_wxman
We've had countless 2-4" paste jobs in late March/early April with little or no power issues. I don't think there is enough on the trees to cause anything.

I think the only reason anyone would lose power from this couple of inches is if someone skids their car into a pole. There's plenty of trees with that have tiny leaves on them,,,and swollen buds add weight and there's many hundreds of thousands of broken branches dangling. There won't be major problems..but there will be more outages than normal
HoarfrostHubb
We had 7" last April No leaves. Just like now Sure, some of Ryans peaches might get damaged, but 2" will not do squat Of course millions will die near Mt Tolland though
CoastalWx
HRRR really develops things nicely near 5am tomorrow morning fwiw. I can't get a feel for this. It's either going to be an inch or two for most, or could end up having a robust 25 mile swipe of 2-5"..lol.
