40/70 Benchmark
Could be the big ole screw job for you and I. I'd honestly be satisfied with some flakes in the air...probably shouldn't type that, though because now it won't happen.

CoastalWx
Gotta love it You and I (esp this area I think) have been the anti '10-'11 winter. I've lived in that shed of yours since 10/29. I hope I never see this again for 20 years.

CoastalWx
Gun to your head..Do any of the 4 SNE climo sites see 2 inches or more? I'm leaning to yes, but a 10-20 mile shift in a band could be the difference.

ineedsnow
fwiw nam doesnt really show the precip as good as it actually is in michigan
ag3
NAM supports a 1"-3" snowfall for TOL and north. South of there has issues looking at soundings and it looks like more of a mix of sleet/snow, away from the CT coast. Catskills look like the bullseye on the NAM. ma blizzard
12z NAM looks like a more reasonable solution. 1"-3" south of the pike, 4" loli in NW ct , t-1" south coast, 2.7" for KTOL would be a fair "guestimate" in my opinion

Baroclinic Zone
Just looking at the model output now for mby and it spits out 0.46". Looks as though the surface is the warmest level, so if the model is correct and precip rates are heavy enough, it should snow.
