ORH_wxman
UK has a pretty substantial snow event on Sunday evening. I was wondering if it did or not...it looked good at 72h but the 96h panel is kind of east...but in between it could have produced.
ski MRG
Ill get more snow than you for the remainder of the season... ...in ct. Does that sting? It's going to be fun to re-post this after GC gets crushed over the next 2 weeks while you see a sloppy inch or two. Thanks.

CoastalWx
yeah qpf is like 0.80" Wow that is impressive. It's funny how models are off and on with that. I wonder if the 00z runs hit this a bit more. Good luck down there by the way.

In all seriousness it wouldnt shock me if that trended better...we knew events could sort of appear on relatively short notice with this type of pattern. One of those things where nobody really expects it and then it just shows up in guidance lol. It seems like the pattern still supports lows near the northeast over the next two weeks. Even if tomorrow night is not much of anything, it doesn't take away from the pattern supporting that low..... just bad luck for us.
moneypitmike
No, but their climate is more like that area..hence the reason they are in ALB zone Not at all why. It has to do with proximity. If it had to do with the similarity in their climate, they wouldn't have GC and the Cape in the same CWA. Meanwhile, just bought a new grill and deck furniture. I'm not sold on snow. OSUmetstud
yeah the UK is definitely the slowest and sharpest with the upper level energy...it really bombs the low as it moves away to 970mb SE of NS. Probably overdone...but you never know.

HoarfrostHubb
It's like mid July down in Blizz land. If Kev let his kids play on the lawn they'd be running through the sprinkler right now. We were actually just shooting off homemade water rockets in my front yard (in the dark, at 37F...lol) My hands are frozen. Just got a launcher.
