Tropopause_Fold
a rare typical March day with highs near climo, a cold wind and mostly cloudy conditions...I almost forgot what it was like... be sure to snuggle up real close with Joe by the fire
moneypitmike
Trying to get back into the swing of things running-wise. If the snow's a no-go, I'll get to keep up with that. Just got back from a chilly one today--up to 39.1 with a strong breeze to boot. Should have worn sweats.
Mr Torchey
Today is just a stellar LL Brian kind of day. Best march Day ever? 56 degrees in the breeze, already 5 above normal climo and sitting at +8.4 for the month its beyond brutal, I mean can you imagine the high will be close to 60 today in March, oh the horror its just brutally cold:(
TalcottWx
Maryland winters disappoint and summers are too hot but the last month of weather has been absolutely and utterly perfect.

weatherMA
GGEM came south too...looks like a BDL-TOL hit instead of a Pike hit. Probably playing catch-up. Is that really an attempt at 10+" for Rt 2 on the 06z NAM ? LOL...wow does the NAM suck. Maybe 18z will go back to that solution?

Brian5671
seems like from about HVN pts s & w...climo is similar to NYC yes and no. Yesterday was close to 70 in NYC while BDR was 58 or so. It depends on the season, but NYC is usually much warmer in the spring and summer. Winter time- the differences are less noticeable.

I can't see total qpf but I would think Mt KTOL would do well with this. Too bad its probably wrong.

dryslot
Confluence looks like its stronger this 12z euro run then the 0z run, But it looks like it has bumped precip back north this run

dryslot
It's over. Pretty much as the initial wave it gets squeezed south but it also looks to hang back some precip to the west, And brings even as far as here on sunday.........lol

Tropopause_Fold
that's a pretty ugly day on saturday. 35-45 with -sn/rn and E winds. congrats everyone.
CoastalWx
The euro actually had a little more QPF for CT area. Granted it was very light/6hrs meaning probably non accumulating snows, but it looke a bit better than 00z.
CoastalWx
The nrn most vortmax is just a bit better on this run..probably why it lingers precip.
dryslot
Not a whole lot of qpf associated with this as most of it gets squeezed out south of NE, Sunday is probably going to be a lot like today here, Dreary, Off and on flurries and 34F

Typhoon Tip
Looks like monday vaporized. Bring back the torch please. I have never seen such a persistent back ground correction necessity last this long in my life. It's a really an under-the-radar phenomenon in its self, and is why the Euro's late middle range has taken so many hits; ever since the October massacre last fall, the models need to be auto corrected toward more progressivity. And its unrelenting... weird!
