Analog96
I don't know why you had such problems with him. He was always good to me, and everyone seemed to get along with him.
Jim Marusak
he was one of the better people to ever meet professionally. i first met him when i interned over there in 1994. and i saw him a couple of years ago at a function over at penn state. his loss is one that the field will feel for a while. Clinch Leatherwood
Fell from his roof while taking down Christmas lights. http://www.statecoll...cident-1032822/ First and foremost this is a terrible tragedy, I feel terribly for his family and friends. Scary for all of us as I'm sure we've all had moments on a ladder or roof where we wondered what if. Very tragic.
ezweather
This is a just horrible news. I can't believe Ken is gone. Age 50 and he's gone. For people who knew him, this has got to be such a shock. I pray for his friends and especially his family. He wil no doubt be a large loss to AccuWeather.

Isopycnic
Fall protection is easy to find, really inexpensive and easy to install these days. A harness system can be as easy as a rope thrown over the house and a $30 harness from Lowes, although we would usually install a permanent anchor on the ridgeline for everyone to use at a later date. It's sad that a tragedy like this has to happen...
catoctin wx
Just found out this morning in an email from a friend. Very sad news. I interviewed for an internship at AccuWx while in college and he was the person conducting the interview. He seemed like a very nice and knowledgable man. wolfpackmet
Very sad, met him a few times. We talked college football for probably 20 mins rather than forecasting or meteorology. Very passionate about his job, company and life.

I've never seen the people here looking so somber, I have to say. When I got the call yesterday, I just couldn't believe it. It still doesn't seem real. Ken was such a great guy. He had so much going for him. I just spoke with him Friday in the lounge. Alex Sosnowski wrote a great story about Ken today. A makeshift memorial has sprung up in Operations, with employees posting condolences and a growing amount of photos.

Rolling Snowed
Sorry to hear this news...I feel for his family/friends/colleagues. mike2010
Very sad news. He was a great talent, great guy , and a 'real' personality. Wore his heart on his sleeve. Pisses me off at the same time, he coulda just paid some landscapers / roofers / or illegals to do that crap. Especially considering the position he had at AccuWx.
