Really surprised by the lack of discussion going on here! I mean we get more talk when there's the possibility of 1" of snow!

A severe t-storm line is continuing to get better organized and will do so for several more hours. Central PA radar:

its just about to hit here...not a fan of svr storms.

sure hope the power stays on.im in the middle of shipping out all my weekend orders.

Lost power... AGAIN about 20 min ago. Just as I was about to make a decent post. Storm wasn't anything near Sunday's but with the same result.. Sigh. Anyways I was goin to say that I'd expect new convection to fire up in the sus valley and take advantage of a more complete daytime heating.

lol, a co-worker of mine was talking about this saying yesterday at a barbeque. She's from Boston area, and never heard it. She loves it, actually. I think it's a total central PA thing but could be wrong.

I grew up in Texas and we said it all the time there. Except there it was hotter than Satan's balls, not just ordinary balls like here.

Powers back, here's the latest culprit.

This was one of the parts of town that got thrashed the most on Sunday, I'd be willing to bet stuff was weakened up a good bit from that and it only took this more typical thunderstorm to cause a couple more issues. Didn't really seem too ridiculous, I guess there was a couple half decent gusts but it wasn't out of the ordinary. Also mostly large and old trees in this lil area and the insides of alot of the stuff that fell resembled that one.

This one was just up the street at the Bell Mansion. Storm damage from today and/or Sunday..not sure.

yea I will if I can get a better idea of how much rainfall to go with the hail... last year was bad rain wise but none of those storms did I see as much rain that hard that fast as earlier... luckily only a little bit of water coming in the basement in one corner of the house but that looks to take up my evening
