Voyager
I miss the Google Maps interface. It's always nice to be able to click on that exact spot (ie: cabin, shore house). Otherwise it is decent. I liked that feature as well. I'd start with my home town and then move to other locations I might be at during the course of the day.
hckyplayer8
lol nice title update Hate the new NWS page. Terrible to try to load it on a phone. Been hearing some gobbling but nothing as fired up as the bird a week ago.
PennMan
On a weather-related note, I just had a 30-45 second burst of intense pea-sized hail here in Bellefonte. Wasn't expecting that.
2001kx
well the dogs started barking so i looked outside and saw this 20ft. from my back door(i was filming from my backdoor). it was eating the dog food from the dog house... makes me a little nervous taking the dog out to go to the bathroom at night. not very big but could still do some serious damage. Nice. If you don't want anymore trouble from this guy you need to take away its food source. Otherwise it will just keep coming back looking for an easy meal. PottercountyWXobserver
Been busy lately, sorry I haven't posted much. Anyways, I completely updated my sig, and went through all my weather data that I post for coop. I'm sooooo sicked by the results of this winter. Sad thing is April was my biggest snowfall for the 2011-2012 winter season. Hahaha I came in with a wopping 39.3" of snowfall for the year, talk about pathetic. I'm going to sort through all of KBFD winter data, but I believe we may have set a record for least amount of snow this year. So we basically finished 40-50" of snow below normal Also a huge difference in the amount of precip we have received this year compared to last. I actually wouldn't be surprised if north central and western PA might be D0-1 abnormally dry within the next 2 weeks if this upcoming batch of heavy rain misses us to the east. Billabong
That persistent band that hovered over Centre put down some decent totals. 2.22" in State College from 8AM yesterday to 8AM this morning, doubling its May rainfall and its previous daily record for May 14. 2.48" for the storm total... not too bad. NeffsvilleWx
NWS is saying t-storms today for the lower susq valley. Hope they're right. There's a little activity in the middletown area, but not much. Things usually start to fire up in the mid-late afternoon in these parts, will be keeping an eye on radar for sure. Unfortunately, I'm always at work when they roll through so I don't get to see much, I'm forced to watch via my station data as I have no windows near my bench
NeffsvilleWx
looks like e-town might get a decent boomer, BR/tops rising quickly. (Just downloaded the gr3 trial, having fun playing with it )

hckyplayer8
Pics or no. Its in the "out there" range but mean trough through PAC NW, 588 dm contours spreading throughout the OV and EC, +20C 850's should translate to some sweltering 90+ days. Yep, I'v noticed this as well. Ughhh fall can't get here soon enough. Maybe I should just move north of the border, lol I might be happier then. It got fairly chilly last night, I reached 31F. hckyplayer8
Here's the jake. A shot at 10 yards by the new turkey slayer 870 Super Mag wasn't a pretty sight....which is why there is a bag over its head. Trying to talk the old man into going back out. Really wood like to call one in for him. He's never harvested one yet.
MAG5035
Nice turkey hckyplayer! State College NWS acknowledged via their facebook the potential heat wave earlier this afternoon with some GEFS images of around the Memorial Day holiday. Todays European would likely be quite warm for our area, but the brunt of the heat would clearly be centered over the midwest in places like Chicago and St Louis, as they are practically right under the 5920m closed high that it cranks out. MAG5035
Additionally, better keep an eye to the sky today in central PA... you might get hit by a plane. http://www.wjactv.com/news/news/three-aircraft-crash-short-time-span/nN89X/

NeffsvilleWx
I got polish blood. Love it cold. Swiss with some German along the way. I start shutting down as the temp rises above 75. She doesn't like it any less than 75. Interior air temperature has been a battle we've been fighting since we got married 4 year ago.
