Jet Stream Rider
Thanks for all the reports everyone. Don't like the looks of those cells off to the south west of central NC. Pressure dropping rather quick here. Sun was out a couple of hours ago. Also, my daughter reports hail in Boone about half an hour ago.
CAD Addict
4 separate incidents of hail now...this is getting ridiculous. Here's a video I shot about an hour ago:

Jet Stream Rider
The western edge of that cell to my due south snuck up on me. Its blowing up a bit and looks like it will impact my vicinity soon. Well before that main line in the Greensboro area.

WilkesboroDude
Alot of pea sized hail downtown greensboro Ouch. At least it is a severe line that moves. Southern Blue Ridge from Wilkes and esp. north-east of here has seen 2 to 6+ inches of rain with more cells still around. Evington, VA reporting up to a half a foot of hail on the ground. cvgram
Any reports out of Mooresville? I checked SPC and saw a couple of reports of hail, but always think everything isn't necessarily reported. Have tried to get ahold of Meow and Wow both on their cells, straight to voice mail. Sent a text. Worried about my girls and sonster in law. Y'all could keep some more of those storms until Wednesday. I fly in Tuesday afternoon for 2 weeks and would love to see some NC heavy weather. Plus I know y'all need the rain. WilkesboroDude
why is there no hail on the steps or upper deck? I don't know...my guess would be it blew off, bounced off, or sun melted it....but there is numerous photos coming from that area making the news. Spidyr2k
who would have thought we would see more accumulating hail than snow in the last 5 months It actually seems appropriate somehow. Regarding the question about the hail not covering the steps, my guess is that somebody swept off what few stones didn't bounce off of their own accord. My guess is they have a steeply pitched roof that dumps into the corner at the deck.
