Freeze watch here tomorrow night.

I'm not totally convinced yet that we make it to freezing at LAF (KTIM probably has it locked up :P) but I think there's a better chance than the failed freeze last time.  Gradient in this case looks to stay up just a bit but probably not as much as last time.  Also, no really significant WAA occurring during the night and low level flow will be out of the NE instead of SE like last time.

Relentless with the fantasy D7-8 ECMWF. About as usefull as two tits on a boar hog!

Day 5 ECMWF Work for ya bruhhh?

ecmwfNA_850_temp_120.gif

How about the Day 5/6 GFS???

gfsUS_850_temp_138.gif

There is a very solid shot of cold coming and it is supported by many models.. And this is the FREEZE THREAD FFS.. You expect talk of sunshine, and torches in here??

GRR even has RA/SN in their forecasts..

Tuesday: A slight chance of rain and snow showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 47.

This is likely the LAST Cold Blast of the season so why the hell do you feel the need to troll in here???!? Just let those who get hard ons from cold shots like this have their one last hoorah and then its your favorite time of the year FFS.. Jeezus... SMH..

Not as bad as it looks, gfs shows lows in lower 30s for most of Michigan, the upper part of Michigan gets 20s.

http://www.nws.noaa....tate/MI.MRF.htm

Umm you gotta use those with caution dude.. They lean towards climo days 5-7. They end up being either not cold enough in these situations or not warm enough during torches.

For example in that link for Antrim that text output is forecasting 28 for tonight and 26 tomorrow night but the NWS forecast for Antrim is calling for 18 and 21 respectively..

And also the NWS point and click forecast for your area next TUESDAY Night is calling for 32.. Almost 6 days out and even with the lean towards climo it is still calling for 32.. That should tell you the potential is definitely there for a freeze in your area next week.

I agree...if the airmass that the GFS/EC are advertising actually pans out then lows will likely be colder than what current MOS output shows.

MET has 30 here tomorrow night. Friday night also needs to be watched for the possibility of a sneaky freeze. Airmass a little warmer by then but radiational cooling potential may actually be better than Thursday night.

This. Calmer winds with high pressure directly overhead, low dewpoints. Friday night/Saturday morning will be the "freeze out" for Northern IN.

Frost Advisory up for the overnight.

It'll go something like this for tomorrow morning's low temp: LAF 36, KTIM 34. ;)
