wxmanmitch
forsythia, cherry, magnolia in full bloom, crab apples, lilacs, wild rose, potentilla, and azalea have leafed out, red maples put out their sex parts, oak buds swelling, and my blueberry bush is about to go into full bloom...and as i type this it's 66 degrees and i'm listening to a full chorus of peepers... and i am getting the first hints of a chaco tan line, and bathing suit top tan line...What a MARCH! All of these early blossoms and leaf outs may get harmed by a late season freeze in many areas. This happened around here in 2010, but this year could be worse since the early bud/leaf out is even more extensive. Apple orchards may have a bad year if this happens as it's still March. Much of interior SNE normally gets freezes well into April, and early May in some areas.
wxsniss
what a spectacular if not freakish weather experience today. once again, Winter 2011-2012: anomaly is the rule. photos from Fella's hood, Brookline, MA:
weatherwiz
YOu know what...I'm going to complain... It's only March...March...it should NOT be this warm this early unless we are getting severe wx chances...let it be about 62F...62F...that's it...why have it 80F? We aren't getting severe wx...60F is perfect. It's March.

OKpowdah
Hey guys, I know it's been unnaturally warm for the last week, and I know we're putting up daily anomalies around 25 to 30. But don't worry, because Concord still has above normal snowfall for the month. Lol
