i went outside yesterday evening near dusk...outside of the lawn not being fully green and the trees still being basically bare...in every other way it seemed like a summer night. it was eerie.

swarms of bugs, people grilling, birds chirping late into the evening. it just smelled warm outside. so strange.

should make sunday feel pretty sweet.

Yeah I know...that's exactly how I felt last night. It was just this weird feel to the air. This is not supposed to happen.

Yeah, I had a catch with my dad yesterday evening, and the cooler evening air felt refreshing with that smell too, just like in summer. Really weird.

i find the satellite image helps with that question more:

Of course! But the purpose was specifically to point out how much cooler Kevin was/is compared to everyone else... muah hahahaha

The dorchester ob is clearly too wam. Somerville maybe too. Maybe it's right, but they have some moments where the temp seems a little cool. Perhaps a few drafts of colder air from the water in between Logan and Castle Island to the southwest.

yeah i'm a little skeptical of such differences too... you'll see on the mesonet map above that even in vermont there are instances of isolated 79 next to 68 readings... hard to buy these little microclimates, especially inland

The Dorchester ob is always way too warm. Sitting at 67 here. Interestingly the SW part of town into Canton was mostly cloudy and cooler closer to 62 because of that fog/cloud bank
