I had the same thing happen to me but in 2009 walked into my room and I was like why is my window open then it clicked me ftl

Trust me its the best thing you can buy just go get one

I used to have one in my room til it fell out the window after I half-assed the installation, summer 2010 and 2011 were hell for me.

and I am too f**king cheap to buy one.

I have no A/C in my house, so stop complaining, I deal with this s**t all summer.

This is nothing, the worst is when it is 95, and humid, and the coolest place in your house is the basement.

You can get an AC that'll keep a room cold for like $60 at closeout/floor model time in August. No reason to be hot but there are people that would rather be sweating than cold. I've never understood that, but there's definitely people that function better in the warmth.

Steady but not that precipitious a temp fall here, 56 now.

i might if i still have a job at the irish pub that I currently work at, I pulled in over $150 in tips on St. Paddy's day

gas for my s**tmobile is more important right now than a A/C

I'm an A/C hog. I like it cold in the house. I try to keep the temp reasonable during the day, but I like it cool when I sleep.

Thrusday might actually be a good day for it

Doesn't look like there is much instability though which actually kind of shocks me b/c lapse rates are pretty decent and dewpoints are into the lower 50's so I would think there would be at least a bit more than what was being shown.

Regardless though shear blows.

I mentioned that this morning. Could be a few iso tstms, but usually not the best with wrly flow at the surface limiting conv and drying out airmass.

It's more like a late July/early August setup

Daytime heating leading to pop up storms where you have areas of locally enhanced lift and such...but with better lapse rates.

Lapse rates are really nice, but nothing sticks out for a good trigger. You never know..could always pop a few.

Some are just fine with a fan. There's no right or wrong answer...but I get uncomfortable in humidity so that's why I need it.

Just imagine what it was like living in Florida before A/C was invented.

My mother who is from Ireland, and she was accustomed to cool wet summers, when she was 5 she moved to the States and she lived near New Orleans, LA up until the early 70's, not talk about culture shock, going from upper 50's to mid 90's and humid, the reason why they moved up north was because of the brutal summers.

People just adapted to it. You'd be amazed at what your body could adapt to when it has to. But yeah...no denying stuffy nights..lol.

I really dont know how people can sleep without it

You should sleep in my room during the summer. I can't hook up an A/C so my bedroom is usually between 85-90F during the summer. I've recorded as high as 99F though during the brutal heat waves. The only reason I usually fall asleep is just from passing out due to heat sickness.

Looks like the max is 77 here...was kind of hoping we'd hit 80.

Time to move to the lowlands...80F here :sun:

This. 66F when I sleep lol. My hottest nights of sleep is any March-May or October heat when the AC's aren't out and its like 75-80F.

Sleep in your basement.
