70.5 here now. You guys will win the golden torch award this week, possibly. That will be a nice ceremony when LL hands you the trophy, just wearng a crown of thorns and a loose white garment.

lol...this is a nice area for early heat when backdoors aren't threatening.

74F now. The Ashland RWIS is 76F and the stations around North Conway are into the upper 70s.

Major LOLZ at the 1pm 70F at BML and 74F at EFK (Newport, VT for those who don't know).

Ginx's vacation, Powderfreak's paycheck, and MRG's sanity crying for their mamas right now.

Some valley way up north may approach 80F at this rate. EFK 75F now and I see a lot of 77/78's on Scott's NNE mesomap in N VT and NE NH.

We had a weenie debate with a friend of mine who's an OCM in Maine. He didn't think we could touch 80 today, but I said it may get close with +12C at 850 and good sw flow. It needs to be a reporting station, but nice to see the meso sites in the mid 70s already.

I still think later this month or beginning of April shouldn't be ignored..especially high elevations. It just seems like something might pop in the pattern..even if it isn't modeled right now. Who knows, maybe it will just be cool and dry...but temps this week have no say in what the two weeks will bring after the warmth leaves.

We should absolutely obliterate today's record high...though 3/18 is a very vulnerable date...most record highs this week are in the 70-75F range and 3/18 is 65F in 1999.

The Newport, VT COOP record is 59F from 1966. The 75F+ today is a ridiculous shattering too.

Hopefully the juiced up NAM seabreeze tomorrow is wrong. The 12z Euro still has 70s up here tomorrow afternoon. Wed/Thu still look hot.

75.3F

Euro seems least aggressive with the front here...it's almost more of a seabreeze here which is fine by me. NAM and GFS offer more chilly weather.

The Euro is the warmest it's been yet for Thu. Looks like there's a trough over the area in the afternoon to shift the winds out of the W/NW.

Well tomorrow we get backdoored, Tuesday I didn't like the look of the MET guidance at all. It had highs over the water near 32. I have no idea where it is coming up with those values there is no real cold air to be had even behind the backdoor.
