Superstorm93
Timing was a bit off, but it seems the hi-res models really did a decent job detecting these cells going all the way back to last night.
SmokeEater
Here she comes, northern cell, 80 kts G2G at 4400 AGL.
SouthernNJ
The storm near Hollis OK has a fair amount of inflow, but not much circulation. Another storm has formed rapidly north of the Midland area in TX. Edit: Circulation has used the inflow to strengthen on the most recent scan. SmokeEater
Large rapidly rotation wall cloud with big inflow tail per Reimer. It may need a TW any second now.
SmokeEater
Cells to the south are quickly dying compared to the northern one. It has definitely become dominant.
cyclone77
Pretty cool how you can see the anti-cyclonic circulation on the left split south of Cheyenne.

SouthernNJ
Circulation strengthened again at 646 CDT, but the pattern so far this evening has been inconsistency with mesocyclones. Perhaps about to change.

OceanStWx
Unreal stucture to that storm. It's one thing to see it on radar and anticipate evolution, but a whole different story watching it play out on a chase cam.
OceanStWx
I don't have the resolution to see the tornado underneath that updraft, but I can see that updraft rotating. And if you can really see rotation in the updraft with the naked eye, it is rapid.

SmokeEater
Where's the wedge? Link please... I don't think there ever was a wedge, there was one down, but I don't think it was huge. I think it's since lifted.
SouthernNJ
Obviously everyone has a visual, but just in case, the radar has shown a large increase in rotation. If the hook wraps around any further, the tornado may become entirely hidden by rain, as opposed to just partially.
