Snowlover76
Just peeked at the 12z euro ensembles and it's south of the operational with the system and a bit cooler. Looks wet and chilly for Sunday. Hope it changes as we approach. Good, better on Sunday than on Saturday. I hope we can get the record for driest March on record. MJO812
Lee Goldberg and DT just said on facebook that a big pattern change to colder and stormier air is on the way for the first week of April. Lee also said that some surprises could also happen.
Stormlover74
If Lee agrees with DT than he should be in the JB/DT thread EWR humidity down to 8%, drier than Tucson, AZ which is 9% Lee Goldberg and DT just said on facebook that a big pattern change to colder and stormier air is on the way for the first week of April. Stormlover74
By the way for those wondering why there was no mention of a freeze last night" US National Weather Service New York NY Typically, our frost/freeze program begins on April 10 for the city, April 20 for Long Island and coastal Connecticut, and May 1 for interior locations. However, due to the extended warm period we recently observed, our frost/freeze program will begin earlier this spring. The program will begin on April 1 for New York City, coastal Connecticut, and Long Island, and on April 15 for inland locations.

Isotherm
4/6/82 and 4/7/03 were nice surprises 4/7/03 was as good as you can get. I recorded 8" IMBY, and we stayed overcast in the 30s/40s for several days after, preserving the snow amazingly well for early April.
