This has been a tainted torch...with alot of the days with fog/clouds....best weather and greatest departure from normal has been in nne

The marine influence has been moderating the departure potential here this month, though they are still very high by

historical standards. Flint, michigan is sitting at +18.1 on the month so far.

that's normal for this area this time of year...With a relatively cold Ocean and unseasonably warm temperatures it's no wonder we are getting heavy fog...It better break soon or it won't hit 80 today let alone 75...

We really seem socked in this morning, more than even yesterday in the city. If we get some downsloping from west winds, it'll burn off, but we really need the winds to veer into a dry direction. Otherwise, we likely see busts for places near the shore.

And it looks like we won't get to 80 this month unlike the mid 80s we saw in 1990 and 98. But we will end up much warmer on average.

Gary, IN is +19.4. That was the greatest departure I could find.

Kind of funny that it's been so dry yet this latest warm spell was humid, cloudy, and foggy with the exception of a few days.

Breaking up in midtown. Hard to believe today will be hot/humid and it's March.
