powderfreak
Maine special tonight for snow Yeah you guys should pick up a nice shot of snow overnight... then it may switch to over here once the NW flow kicks in with high RH values in the lower levels sticking around afterwards. A couple of white coatings already this week across portions of New England and now a few more possible snow events to look forward to. Not a bad way to start April. Snow Bow
snowing nicely here, have a little snow/sleet accumulation. Was pretty impressive from 1130-1200 or so here. Started as sleet then switched to a moderate snow with large flakes, then the sleet/hail?(i say hail because there were some pretty big pieces of ice falling, almost pea size) came down heavy enough to coat the grass and give the roads a skim coat of slush for ten minutes or so. After it stopped the sun came out, didnt get to look at radar but it seemed convective.

If it looks like little white balls or is more cloudy looking...it probably is hail.

It was a pretty interesting event even though little came of it.

NECT
<begin nitpicking> You started this thread with the suggestion that we would likely get tagged. If you meant someone could get as much as a couple slushy inches that are gone by the next day, then we may get tagged. If you meant that a lot of us would see some mangled flakes mixed in with rain, then we will definitely get tagged. <end nitpicking>
