ski MRG
I am close to locking a major major winter storm for April 2nd. We could potentially be looking at as much tree and power line damage as the Oct storm with many of the trees already in full leaf out and another full 7+ days to continue opening up Please. Damage In Tolland
No more wire to wire torch? April 1-10 normal to above temPs in the mean
CoastalWx
April 1-10 normal to above temPs in the mean I mentioned this a few days ago, but the biggest departures on the (-) side will be from high temps. It's the low temps that might not get all that cold..except for nights like Monday night perhaps.
CoastalWx
LOL. Gibbs says around April 16-18 is when we retorch for the rest of April Yeah things might warm up again near and esp after that time, agreed. However, I could see New England being the last to benefit from this.
CoastalWx
If you don't think this is a pattern change from what we had, then I'm not sure what to say. Even if we had sunny and dry NW flow, it still would be a pattern change. Greenland, Canada, and western NAMR are completely different.
ChrisM
Ther is little reason to venture out of the high country. I am at 1k, is that high country? Or just areas above 1,395'?

Yeah, I think the next warm pattern as it loads in mid April will have us being more susceptible to getting backdoored.

ski MRG
There he is! I thought we lost ya for a while there during that torch. All it would take is one bad run of the Euro. Torch boy will be back but hopefully we can have a few weeks without him starting forest fire threads and alarming people with talk of the elderly perishing due to incineration. Wait though, that dude Brian5671 from the NYC metro area said nothing has changed all Winter. I am at 1k, is that high country? Or just areas above 1,395'? The valley here is 1k, plus you live in CT. That's a disqualifier right there.
