It's pretty nice looking for your area. Probably would be several inches.

Thanks... mixed feelings but I guess I'd obviously root for snow because the flip side is a 38F rainer or something.

For skiing its close to being too little too late, but I think we'd all enjoy to see a few more flakes.

I'm thinking we see a dusting/coating/1" or something with this cold shot early in the week, there's bound to be some upslope response with that type of CAA.

I think if it snows you'd see a good push of people. It's novel again after 2+ weeks of warmth and nobody else has substantial terrain left aside of you and SR and those up in Maine.

euro would have snow flying thursday, the following monday, and probably a few days later with a really potent system coming out of the plains.

Yes please. Maybe we can trend the Wednesday night event into a few inches of snow in the interior...that would be sweet,

Too bad the Euro didn't go out another 24 hours just for entertainment purposes...that looks like a potential monster event at the end of the run coming out of the midwest.

i know. overall, that run is about as good as you could ask for given the calendar and what 11-12 has been like.

I noted already D5 looks pretty decent on ensembles...but I just saw the 4/2 system on the ensembles...I can't believe how robust it is (and cold) on the ensemble mean. Pretty impressive actually.

I'm still skeptical of day 5 here in SNE...probably more an NNE/CNE threat if I had to guess, but the pattern does not stop with that threat for sure. It looks pretty threating (for early April anyway) all the way to the end of the ensemble run.

Euro ensembles are pretty good looking for the Thursday (D5) system...definitely would be snow for the interior of CNE/SNE.

2 weenie questions:

1) this winter, did we have any events take that NW/SE trajectory like it is depicted?

2) What kind of beer do you like?

We didn't have any like that...they aren't that common to begin with. I recall the last one being on March 24-25, 2007...but maybe we had one after that too.
