I'm excited for the SE Coastal MA and RI region for Saturday morning with regards to that 500mb vort energy that moves south of the area, as a weak surface reflection moves south of the region and intense lift/precip moves through. Short range ARW and NMM models show intense convection with this system. Some intense snowfall rates with this system if trends continue for the better. Best place seems to be on a line from Plymouth, MA to Providence, RI. Will be interesting to see trends throughout the day with regards to the models. Spring weather in Central SC is quite interesting. Went from 80F one day to 29F the next morning just about a week or two ago.

Looks like we changed over from rain to snow at 1:30am and it has continued to snow lightly all night. Everything is white again though not a lot of accumulation. Still, I'm pleased to look outside and see all surfaces white and the VT DOT plow just went by.

Looks like the snow showers are starting to wane though... probably had a couple of good snow showers overnight.
