Monday started out cloudy with a bit of light rain mid-morning as a cold front passed through. Clearing, cooling, drying skies in the afternoon and evening, with high temp around 70 turning it into a pretty nice latter part of the day. Temps have dropped into the 50s on this early Tuesday morning, with lows probably around 50, maybe upper 40s by sunrise. Tuesday a partly cloudy day with highs in the upper 60s, lows overnight Tuesday in the upper 40s. Warming up a bit the rest of the week, with highs generally in the 70s and lows in the 50s. A 40 POP for showers/storms on Saturday, high around 80 under mostly cloudy skies, then clearing off on Sunday with highs dropping back down into the low 70s once again, lows in the low 50s.

Tuesday was a beautiful cool early fall day. Starting out in the upper 40s under clear skies, we rose into the mid 60s with dew points mostly in the 40s. Tonight under clear skies temps are dropping nicely, falling into the 40s early this Wednesday morning. We should bottom out around 44 by sunrise this morning. Sunny, highs in the low 70s on Wednesday. Not as cool Wed night, lows in the 50s. Thursday sunny with highs in the upper 70s, lows in the 50s. Friday continued sunny and warmer still, highs in the low 80s. Over the weekend more clouds than sun and we have a slight chance at showers (30 POP) with highs around 80, lows around 60.  Early next week looks like a return to sunny skies, with highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s.

Wednesday was another beautiful cool early fall day. We reached 44, our coolest reading of the fall season (so far). A tad warmer in the afternoon as we approached 70 for a high temp. Dew points still staying in the very comfy 40s for the most part. Tonight we have fallen back into the 50s and should bottom out in the upper 40s by morning. A warm up should continue on Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 70s on Thursday and into the low 80s on Friday. Lows in the 50s Thursday and Friday night. Over the weekend and into next week, it looks like more clouds than sun, with a 50 POP for showers on Saturday with highs around 80, then dropping into the mid 70s on Sunday with a 40 POP for more showers. Lows mostly in the 50s. Monday a continued 40 POP for showers, highs in the low 70s, then diminishing chances (30 POP) for showers on Tuesday under partly cloudy skies and highs in the lower 70s, then sunny with highs in the low 70s and lows in the low 50s on Wednesday.

Thursday warmed up in the afternoon under sunny skies after another morning in the 40s, reaching the mid 70s. Tonight it is pleasant out, warmer than it has been the past few days, as temps have slid through the 60s into the upper 50s after midnight. Probably will reach the mid 50s by sunrise.  Sunny with highs around 80 on Friday, then increasing clouds Friday night into Saturday, with a 70 POP for showers/storms developing on Saturday afternoon ahead of an advancing cold front from points W and N. An 80 POP for the showers/possible storms continuing into Saturday evening, with lows in the 60s dropping into the 50s by sunrise. Thereafter we should have another stretch of early fall weather, with highs in the low-mid 70s and lows mostly in the low 50s on sunday and well into the new week.

Friday warmed up a bit more into the upper 70s under partly cloudy skies with slowly rising dew points into the low 60s. Tonight we are staying warm under increasing cloud cover and the higher dew points in the low 60s. Cloudy skies on Saturday,high temps in the mid 70s, with a slight chance of a shower in the morning hours but a much better chance of showers and thundershowers in the afternoon and evening hours (80 POP aft, 90 POP eve).  Clearing late Saturday night, lows in the upper 50s. Sunday starts a sunny streak that should last through the week, with highs in the low 70s and lows in the upper 40s. Gradually a slow warmup all week, eventually reaching high temps in the upper 70s on Thursday and Friday, with lows eventually in the upper 50s. After tomorrow there just doesn't look like any more rain chances for the next week. We need the rain!

In my area we've had low temps dropping far below projected lows for quite a few nights recently. Tonight we were forecast to be low of 57 but actually recorded 48. I imagine the entire MA region is similar. I use Accuwx for the forecast btw - maybe that's the problem? TIA for any insight you can share.

Saturday was sunny early in the AM as I understand it (I was sleeping most of the AM) but was cloudy most of the day, with rain starting around 1530 and continuing till around 2300, mostly light but with some more intense periods around 2000 and then around 2115 EDT, just prior to frontal passage. It was a good rain, one we needed desperately.  It is now early morning Sunday, and skies have cleared and temps have dropped into the upper 50s. We probably will bottom out in the mid 50s by sunrise. Sunday should be sunny and dry, with high temps around 70. Lows Sunday night under clear skies and light winds should be in the mid 40s. Monday should be even cooler despite sunny skies, with highs in the mid 60s and lows in the low 40s Sunday night. All of the upcoming week should be sunny with highs in the low 70s Monday through Wednesday with lows in the low 50s, then mid 70s the rest of the week under continued sunny skies and lows in the low 50s.

Sunday was a mostly sunny and cooler day, with some instability cumulus clouds at times during the mid-day hours. Highs reached 70 mid-afternoon after  mid 50s morning mins, surpassed a bit by late evening temps just at obs. Now it is still clear but temps have dropped into the low 50s. We probably will hit in the upper 40s to around 50 by sunrise Monday. The coming week should be mostly sunny and dry, with high temps in the upper 60s on Monday gradually warming up to the upper 70s by Friday. Lows in the mid 40s on Monday night should rise to the upper 40s by Tuesday night, then low-mid 50s the rest of the week. No rainfall looks to be falling in our area this week. A shame, we need rain!

Monday started out with a mid-level cloud cover and temps in the low 50s. Eventually by afternoon the sun broke through and we had a sunny, cool afternoon with temps only reaching the mid 60s. Clear, calm skies tonight has dropped temps through the 50s into the upper 40s early this Tuesday morning. We should reach the low 40s by sunrise. Tuesday we should rebound a bit more under sunny skies with highs in the low 70s. Tuesday night we should drop down into the mid 40s.  The rest of the week we should have sunny to partly cloudy skies with highs in the mid-upper 70s and lows in the low-mid 50s. Most likely a continuation of this pattern through the weekend and most likely finishing out September as well.  No rainfall looks to be falling in our area the rest of the month. A shame, we need rain!

Tuesday got a nice, clear, cool start in the mid 40s, then warmed to around 70 by mid-afternoon under bright, sunny skies. Temps have dropped quickly through the 60s and 50s this evening and are now in the upper 40s, heading for a low in the mid 40s by sunrise. Sunny skies through the weekend, with highs mostly in the mid 70s, and lows around 50 Wednesday night and in the low-mid 50s thereafter through the weekend. Possibly a chance for rain early next week, depending on if a coastal LOW develops and can hug close enough to the coast to throw some much needed rain our way. We shall see what develops, if anything.

Wednesday got off to another nice, clear, cool start in the mid 40s, then warmed a bit more into the mid 70s by mid-afternoon under bright, sunny skies. However this evening a minor upper-air disturbance has brought in some mid to high level clouds that should last through most of the night past sunrise and keep a bit of a lid on our temps, though right now we have dropped into the low 50s.  Radar is showing rain showers spinning in directions away from our area in central VA and central WV. We probably will stay in the low 50s overnight. Through the weekend we should have sunny to partly cloudy skies with high temps in the low-mid 70s, and lows in the 50-55 range for the most part. Slight (30 POP) for some showers on Monday, then more sun and low 70s temps as we head into the new month of October.

Thursday got off to a cloudy start, with low temps that held in the 50s overnight because of this mid-high level cloud deck that gave areas well to my south some light showers according to radar. Sun broke out in the afternoon and temps rose into the low 70s. Tonight we will probably once again drop into the low 50s under partly cloudy skies. Thursday should be sunny with some clouds at times, high temps in the low-mid 70s. Thursday night a clear night with lows once again in the 50s. In fact we are in quite a dry, repetitive pattern with highs in the low-mid 70s by day and lows in the low-mid 50s by night through at least the middle of next week, heading us into October. Sunny to partly cloudy days and nights, mostly mid-upper level clouds at best as we just can't seem to get any rain into our area. Quite often in Septembers past when we have had a serious lack of tropical activity we usually have quite dry months of September and this September is no exception.

Gaithersburg Maryland VP2 backyard weather station report for Friday, September 27, 2013

Friday got off to a cloudy start once again, as low temps once again held in the 50s overnight because of this mid-high level cloud deck brought in on light easterly winds. Sun broke out some in the afternoon but still clouds hung around a bit and temps only rose into the upper 60s. Tonight we will probably once again drop into the low 50s under partly cloudy skies. Saturday should be partly sunny, high temps in the low-mid 70s. Saturday night should be a clear night with lows once again in the 50s. In fact we are in quite a dry, repetitive pattern with highs in the low-mid 70s by day and lows in the low-mid 50s by night through at least the middle of next week, heading us into October. I will be starting a big trip on Saturday, late morning - headed for Las Vegas NV with my daughter Robin to get her out there to start a new career as a manager for a PF Changs restaurant out there.  We hope to motel 6 (pet friendly- a dog and 3 cats in tow) it on Sat evening in the Cincinnati area, then Kansas City on Sunday night, etc. Bringing my laptop with me, hope to get online in the mid-late evening. Updates on the trip, hoped for access via weather underground to my home station so I can go a modified daily wx report. Stay tuned for that.

Well it has been two weeks ago on a Friday night that I last came to you with a regular daily weather posting from my home station. Some of you may have received many daily travelogue posts from the road on my way out and back from Las Vegas. I hope you enjoyed them. If any of you out there who didn't get them and would like to get them (I save everything) just let me know and I will send them to you. Some of you also sent me nice remarks about them, how you enjoyed them. I really appreciate the feedback. I will be getting around to posting pictures from the trip when I get the chance. I have a lot to get caught up on, including my data while away. I am still trying to resolve some data problems, so some of the cumulative data below is subject to revision as I work through the numbers and discuss problems with fellow, near-by observers.

Friday was a cool, cloudy, all day rainy day, my rainiest in quite a while. In fact today's 2.26" total was the third wettest day of the year, and wettest day since 2.33" fell back on June 10. (The wettest day this year was 3.00" on January 30 BTW.) It easily set a new daily precip record, surpassing the 1.29" that fell back on 10/11/02. But I have had a lot of really wet days in October totally; this was only the 7th wettest October daily record amount in my 35 year station history. Flooding in selected areas in the region today was pretty widespread, but my neighborhood is not a flood-prone area so I was OK on that front, so to speak. Rain appears to be staying around during the day on Saturday, with a 90 POP for precipitation, lessening to a 40 POP Saturday night and then a 50 POP for mostly lighter rain on Sunday. Temps the next several days look to stay pretty stable, in the mid-upper 60s for daily highs and low-mid 50s for lows most days. Rain chances look to be minimal after Sunday for the new week, but clouds appear to be sticking around for most of the time during the new week.

Radar is showing continued shower activity moving in from the ocean in an east to west direction, headed right for the DC area. Heavier activity looks to get here in a few hours, around sunrise or slightly thereafter most likely.

Saturday was another cool, cloudy, rainy day, though lighter and more occasional than Friday. No daily records set on Saturday.  There was still some flooding around the region in selected areas but once again, not in my immediate area.  An 80 POP for rain/drizzle overnight with lows in the 50s should give way to more clouds on Sunday with a 40 POP for light rain, then only a slight chance for rain Sunday night (20 POP), possibly some spotty drizzle, with high temps on Sunday in the upper 60s and lows once again down in the 50s. Monday should be cloudy in the morning then we should have some partial clearing Monday afternoon, with temps in the 60s, then clearing off Monday night and Tuesday, with some good sun as the work week starts for some of us (hopefully all of us if the budget can get settled) and highs up around 70s. Clouds return Wednesday with similar temps, then a 40 POP for rain on Thursday, then clearing off on Friday and over the next weekend. Temps should stay around 70 for highs and 50s for lows through the week. 

Saturday's precipitation: 0.76" (LR) M amount on the VP2 as it is severely clogged - I will get out there and clear it out Sunday afternoon hopefully.

Sunday was another cool, cloudy, rainy (only in the AM) day, but even lighter than Saturday, and some clearing was actually noted by evening. Clear skies at obs, we should see the sun on Monday, at least partially. High temps for the early part of the week should mostly be in the mid-upper 60s range, with low 50s overnight . There is a slight chance at rain showers (30 POP) on Wednesday and Thursday evenings. On Thursday into the weekend a bit of a cooling trend, with sunny to partly cloudy skies and highs in the low-mid 60s and lows in the low-mid 40s. No major rain areas coming into our area for the foreseeable future. I had a total rainfall for the past few days (Oct 9-13) of 4.20". Other areas in the region have had more according to reports I have received from the internet and other fellow observers.

Monday started out a bit cloudy, but cleared off nicely by mid-day and we had a beautiful, dry afternoon with pleasant temperatures and lowering humidities. Temps warmed into the mid 60s. Tonight under clear skies temps have dropped through the 60s and most of the 50s, headed for a low in the upper 40s by sunrise. Tomorrow should be sunny with high temps in the upper 60s. Wednesday and Wednesday night should be a bit cloudy, temps in the 60s and 50s, then sunny on Thursday during the day with highs up around 70, then cloudy Thursday night with a 50 POP for rain, lows in the 40s. Thereafter we should be mostly sunny with highs in the low-mid 60s and lows in the low-mid 40s through the weekend. 

Monday's precipitation: 0 (LR) - I finally got the VP2 backyard rain gauge unclogged Monday afternoon, and it was seriously clogged to say the least! (no readings out of it, unfortunately)

Tuesday worked out as an opposite of Monday, starting out sunny and cool (upper 40s at sunrise), then warming up in the afternoon into the upper 60s and clouding over by evening with temps eventually dropping into the upper 50s by late evening.  Cloudy on Wednesday and Thursday, mild tomorrow - into the low 70s despite the clouds. 60s on Thursday with a 30 POP for showers during the day, and a 50 POP for rain in the evening, with lows in the 50s. Sunny on Friday through the weekend, cooler, with highs in the low-mid 60s and clear at night with lows in the upper 30s (Sunday night) to low 40s.

Wednesday was cloudy and mild, with a bit of a surprise sometime overnight with a light shower and some light-moderate fog. Stayed mostly cloudy all day, but no further rain. Cloudy and still mild with temps now down in the low 60s and dew points also in the low 60s - might get into the mid-upper 50s by morning. Staying cloudy on Thursday, with a 40 POP for rain during the day and a 60 POP for rain in the evening. Mild, temps may reach the low 70s.  Still mild Thursday evening in the 50s, but clearing out by morning. Friday through the weekend and into the new week we should be mostly in the low-mid 60s for high temps and lows in the low-mid 40s. A pretty good indication that late next week we might be turning even cooler, with possibly our first frost of the season possible.

Thursday was once again cloudy and mild, actually humid in the afternoon for a time, but with evening showers that marked the passage of a cold front that is going to usher in a gradual cooling trend that promises to get quite chilly towards the end of next week. Mostly dry also. Temps up in the low 70s this afternoon fell into the 60s with the evening showers, and now with the FROPA we have started dropping through the 50s. We may wind up in the upper 40s by morning under clear skies. Temps on Friday will make it up into the 60s, then drop off into the 40s Friday night. Partly cloudy on Saturday, highs in the 60s with lows in the 40s, with a 30 POP for a shower at times. Sunday through the middle of next week looks to be mostly sunny, very fall-like with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s and lows in the upper 30s to low 40s with a bit of a nip in the air.  Leaves are definitely showing their fall colors around here now, I noticed driving around on Wednesday many of the yellow leaves are really coming out, probably certain species that have that coloring at this time of year.

Friday was mostly sunny, breezy at times, drier and cooler, particularly in the evening under a full partially eclipsed moon. After an afternoon with highs in the mid 60s, temps dropped off quickly after sunset, dropping through the 50s into the upper 40s by midnight and now in the mid 40s. We may reach around 40 by sunrise and hit our lowest reading of the fall (so far). In the coming week we will probably get lower than that (well down into the 30s with our first frost possible). Saturday should start out Sunday but clouds will be on the increase in the afternoon with a 30 POP for showers then and also on Saturday evening. High temps on Saturday in the mid 60s, lows Saturday night into the low 40s. Sunday should be in the low 60s with sun returning. For the coming week we will start out with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s but by mid-week into the late week we should have highs in the mid-upper 50s and lows in the mid-upper 30s. Not much chance of rain unfortunately, though for October we are running above normal right now. Leaf color should be nearing peak this weekend in the area.

Saturday was partly to mostly cloudy, similar high temps to yesterday, a cool morning, partly cloudy this evening and a bit milder than last night. We warmed up after I went to bed last night, and didn't reach 40 like I thought we would.  There were some showers around the region, but I didn't get anything measureable. Tonight the temps are in the upper 40s and should make the mid 40s by sunrise.  Sunny weather should return on Sunday with high in the low-mid 60s, lows in the 40s. The week ahead looks to be mostly sunny and somewhat mild at first with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s, but by mid-week we should be cooling off to mid-upper 50s highs and low reaching down into the mid-upper 30s, with possible freezing temps by Friday night. My long-term normal first freeze date (32° min) is around October 20, so this is nothing unusual, rather normal actually. Perhaps some snow by mid-week high up in the West Virginia mountains, but nothing here yet unfortunately.

So sorry not to post yesterday. I just couldn't log on to the website after signing in with my username and password. Glad to see things are working better for me tonight.

 

Monday was a beautiful cool, sunny fall day after our coolest morning of the season (so far), as we reached the upper 30s for my low temp this morning. We reached up into the 60s in the afternoon, but tonight it is not as cool as clouds have come in and the dew point has risen from the low values in the mid 30s up into the mid 40s currently. Clouds will keep our low temps in the upper 40s by sunrise (currently they are in the lower 50s). Clouds on Tuesday with a a 20 POP for an isolated shower, then a 60 POP for rain showers  late Tuesday into Wednesday. Lows in the 40s on Tuesday night, but then only rising into the low 50s on Wednesday, with winds increasing from the NW as the next cold front passes through our area. Friday should be a bit chillier, particularly during the nighttime hours, with high temps around 50 and lows around freezing. If we hit 32 that would be within a day or two of my long-term average first freezing temp of the fall (October 23 is the actual average date). With warmer falls the past few years that average date has been creeping later into the month of October. Over the weekend we should moderate a bit, with highs in the mid-upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s to low 40s, but dropping again Sunday night into the mid 30s.

Tuesday was a busy day for me, lots of medical work in the morning, then lots of work at the office in the afternoon. I think it was a partly cloudy day, a bit cooler during the day than yesterday probably because of the clouds, and also because of the clouds the morning low temps were warmer, in the mid 40s. Tonight we are cloudy and holding in the mid 40s after dropping to that level in the earlier evening when we had mostly clear skies. There are showers in the area, but nothing at my station yet. There is a 50 POP for showers overnight, with lows in the low 40s. Tomorrow another 50 POP for showers, and turning cooler late, with highs in the 50s and lows Wednesday night in the mid 30s. Thursday through Saturday should be mostly sunny with highs around 50 to the low 50s, lows in the 30s. Friday night we may have our first 32 reading of the fall, with lows expected in the low 30s. Thereafter on Sunday and into next week it should moderate a bit into the mid-upper 50s and lows in the upper 30s.

Wednesday was another busy day for me, just lots of work still getting caught up on from the time away from the office earlier in the month. We started out cool and cloudy, with early morning showers in the area, but nothing measurable recorded here. We got breezy and cleared off some as the day wore on, but cooler than yesterday, with high temps only reaching the mid 50s, dropping through the 40s in the evening and early morning hours. We may reach the upper 30s by morning. There were snow showers out in the mountains of western Maryland and West Virginia today. Tonight it has cleared off. High temps the rest of the week will not reach much above 50 at best, and lows in the upper 30s tonight will progress downward on Thursday and Friday night to lows around the freezing mark. I told my wife to harvest her basil plants during the day on Thursday, they are particularly sensitive to near freezing if not freezing temperatures so she tells me. No rain chances till slim ones crop up next week. The weekend should moderate a bit, but still with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s to around 40.

Thursday was a mostly cloudy and blustery cold day, our coldest max temp since April 4 of this year (hit 49.7 for a high that day). It has cleared off this evening, and we have a freeze warning out from 3 AM to 10 AM. My wife did pay heed to my reminder to her of this freeze and so she harvested her basil from the backyard, as it turns black after it gets below 35! We should hit 32 or 33 by sunrise. Highs on Sunday with a lot more sun should reach the mid 50s, but Friday night under clear skies and even lower dew points, we should bottom out around 30. Over the weekend we should be a tad milder than that but still have highs in the mid-upper 50s to around 60 and lows in the mid to upper 30s. Monday and Tuesday of the new week look sunny to partly cloudy with highs around 60 and lows around 40. Midweek looks a bit cloudier, similar temps but a 30 POP for showers possible at times.

My apologies for a few blatant errors in my Thursday report. First, I entitled it on the subject line as being from Thursday, May 24, 2013 and it should have been Thursday, October 24, 2013. And in stating the dew point values, I erred and gave you the wind chill temp. I didn't catch that till I was just about done last nigh. My VP2 system for some reason reset to the wind chill reading, which shares the same button and display as the dew point. If I could permanently disable that wind chill option and just display the dew point all the time I would. Perhaps there is a way, no time to figure that out now. I noticed that I had 82% rel humidity but was getting a 37.5 air temp and a 37 dew point reading- not possible. This reset to the wind chill just happened again tonight, and I have reset it now. It is holding true right now.

Friday was a mostly sunny and a bit milder with the sun in the afternoon after a frosty morning- my cartop was frosty but luckily my windshield was clear when I left for work this morning.  The 33.7 min on the VP2 was the coldest min temp I have had since the 33.3° min I had back on April 6 of this year. My average long-term (34 year period - 1979 through 2012) first 32 reading in the fall is October 20. The sun warmed us a bit more than yesterday, up into the mid 50s.  Tonight the clear skies are radiating well with no wind - temps are dropping through the 30s, and should reach around 30° by sunrise. Officially NOAA has issued a freeze warning for our area till 9 AM Saturday.  Sunny with highs in the mid-upper 50s on Saturday, then some clouds Saturday night should bring our low temps only into the upper 30s by Sunday sunrise. Sunday should be sunny with highs around 60. Monday and Tuesday should see highs in the low 60s and lows around 40. A 30 POP for showers are forecast for mid-week with mostly cloudy skies and 60s and 40s for temps, then mid-upper 60s for the end of the week with lows in the 40s under continued sunny/clear skies.

Saturday was a mostly sunny and seasonably chilly day, with our first freezing minimum temperature of the season at 29.9°.  That is six days later than my long-time average first 32 reading of October 20. Sunny skies warmed the frosty early AM temps up into the mid 50s eventually. It was a nice day for a drive out towards Damascus this afternoon, where I attended one of the famous country dinners local churches around here have at this time of year, an all you can eat turkey and fried oyster dinner with all the trimmings. My friend Roger R went along with me. The fall colors are rapidly reaching peak color here with our colder temps the past few days, though our route today wasn't particularly scenic for leaf viewing most of the way. Winds are light this evening,  a few clouds around and temps are not dropping off as much as last night, as it appears we will only reach down into the upper 30s by sunrise Sunday morning.  Highs on Sunday should be in the upper 50s, with partly to mostly sunny skies. Upper 30s again Sunday night, then a high temp of 60 on Monday under partly cloudy skies. Most of the upcoming week should be sunny/partly cloudy and a bit milder with temps slowly rising into the upper 60s by week's end, along with increasing chances for showers by Thursday evening (30 POP) and Friday (50 POP). Temps at night should mostly be in the upper 30s to lower 40s. No more frosty mornings for a while as it looks now, probably none till we reach early November.

Sunday was another fine, sunny fall day, a bit milder than Saturday with no more freezing temps in the early morning hours, only reaching the mid 30s for our lowest reading of the day. Tonight the temps are dropping off nicely into the mid 30s now, and should be just above the freezing mark by sunrise. It should be our coldest mins of the coming week.  Mostly sunny conditions should dominate through most of the week till Halloween night on Thursday, when showers may develop ahead of a cold front that won't clear till the weekend, giving us a wet start to November on Friday with a 70 POP for showers both during the day and on Friday evening. Temps should be in the 60s most of the week, and upper 60s at that on Wednesday and Thursday. Lows should mostly be in the 40s after tonight, and upper 40s at that on our wet days Thursday and Friday. We should dry out and cool off over next weekend, with highs lowering to the 50s by Sunday and low temps returning into the 30s by then also.

Monday was another sunny, fine fall day, a tad milder in the afternoon than yesterday, but chillier in the early AM.  Partly cloudy overnight, temps around 40 right now but should get down into the mid 30s by morning. Partly cloudy on Tuesday with highs in the upper 50s, a bit cooler than Monday. Lows Tuesday night with clouds only in the 40s. Wednesday should be milder with highs in the upper 60s. Lows Wednesday night warmer still, in the low 50s. Thursday should reach 70 for highs under cloudy skies. Halloween Thursday night should be cloudy and mild with lows in the mid-upper 50s with a chance of rain showers coming in late (60 POP) but hopefully after the trick or treaters have come home with all their candy and other goodies. As we head into November, Friday should still be mild with temps in the upper 60s with a 70 POP for showers during the day. Clearing off Friday night with lows starting to cool off into the 40s. Saturday should be sunny and a bit cooler, with highs in the mid 60s, then cooling off on Sunday under sunny skies with high temps only in the low 50s. Same temps on Sunday with more sunny skies. Lows should be well down in the 30s to around freezing.
