weatherMA
Despite the drop to the current temp of 52.0F, its still mostly clear so its still decently nice out.

ctsnowstorm628
false. SE CT. Yeah I'm in SE CT(Middlesex Cty) half the year, and overall, I think we fare similarly or better than LI. Maybe GON toward Westerly, RI does worse out and out toward Newport. Overall though, LI isn't exactly a great spot for cold weather...that's what I was trying to get around. Snow is similar, but temps on the south shores of LI are def worse than SE CT
40/70 Benchmark
And it missed 95% of us...the storm was about 2 miles wide...congrats to those who got in it...most of us didn't...couldn't care less about it. I'll post pics of old snowstorms any day over tracking a marginal tstorm. But to each their own. Me ftw. You ftl. Move North.

Groton/Stonington/New London/Waterford/East Lyme is just miserable for snow.
Mr Torchey
Nam is ugly spring for SNE I am looking forward to the two day cool down here, 50s will feel refreshing, okx says 60 61ish this weekend, so perfect for beer day. I prefer the ups and downs and wild swings in temps during the spring and the entire evolution, 70 today low 50s tomorrow 60 this weekend then ridiculously above normal next week. How is the Euro looking? still advertising the pattern change around the 25th?

ctsnowstorm628
And Guilford/Branford/New Haven do better than anywhere on LI and substantially better than SE CT. By far. The point I was trying to make was that the south shore of LI isn't exactly a desirable spot for cold air. Most if not all of New England less maybe the outer cape and islands is colder than there. Tweed overlooks the water, too. I'm 3 miles inland and on sea breeze days and good radiational cooling days its a whole different world.
