CoastalWx
Can you vouch for me that the pic I just sent you showed forsythia's blooming..so Ginx can lose again I wouldn't call it full bloom and it wasn't the most clear pic. However, it did look like they were beginning to bloom.

Ginx snewx
No problem...what is the criteria that you guys are using? Are we talking just the leaf buds being out or are we talking full-sized leaves? I'm also assuming this includes trees, shrubs and other forms of perennial growth. I've attached 3 pictures from the Woodford, VT Webcam from a time lapse project that I'm working on showing bare trees, leaves budding and full leaves. If the bet is for leaves fully out, I would think you're looking for #3, correct? yes full leaf out is what he said, full

ORH_wxman
We'll be hard pressed to see something that impressive at that time of night the rest of the year. Road covered in hail in March? 1" hail after midnight isn't impressive? And it missed 95% of us...the storm was about 2 miles wide...congrats to those who got in it...most of us didn't...couldn't care less about it. I'll post pics of old snowstorms any day over tracking a marginal tstorm. But to each their own.
